Completely impressed, uses wifi, clear image, live viewing from anywhere as long as wifi signal is available, we use it as a driveway announcer also, let's one know if the motion detected was a vehicle, person, or animal. Has been in operation for a few months now even past minus 20 degrees Celsius, always maintains battery via solar as it is in a remote location. No more surprise visits picks up the motion every time. Even if the wifi signal is lost, it will still record events to the SD card, which can be viewed once the wifi signal has been restored. Would recommend easy to setup as well. Nice app functionality.

The solar panel is terrific. You can go for months without charging the battery. Very nice to pan and tilt camera lens. Very good value for money.

The allan key for installation is cumbersome and, in my opinion, serves no useful purpose. A self-tapping, locking screw with a Phillips or Robertson head would have been better and helped significantly in the installation. Every time i have to take the camera down, it frustrates me to no end. The Camera works great, support is outstanding, engineering not so much. The latter 2 keep the rating from being a 1

20250115 Update: Still winter, plus or minus 0C/32F. WiFi motion detection is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe how poor the motion detection is with Reolink WiFi Cameras. I have 6 and they all suck. Range is short, detection is most times missed or late, if outdoors motion detection is MUCH WORSE than indoors but even indoors is poor. Meanwhile, the PoE cameras or at least some, have much longer range, smaller objects, quicker to react and very rarely miss detections. These WiFi cameras are just not reliable as Security Cameras, especially in colder weather. Also the solar panels SUCK and the lithium batteries are incredibly slow to charge in winter. Often I wonder if the solar panel is even working. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED BY THE 2 REOLINK ARGUS PT CAMERAS. NOT RECOMMENDED.20241121 Update: -7.4 C / 18.68 F. Camera panning frozen left to right but works up and down. Same behavior most days at or below freezing even with the camera under roof soffit cover so it has no precipitation on it. Battery is at 100%, all settings checked, rechecked, calibrated etc.. If the ambient temperature goes above freezing, then the camera panning works normally.Also annoying is that the PIR Motion Detection is POOR, short distance and misses many events. I have a car parked 70 feet away and if I pan the camera up , down, left or right (when not frozen), the motion sensor detects the car but if the car is driven from that spot and directly across the field of view, the motion detection does not activate and record the motion. Same as if I walk, run, wave my arms, drive my ATV, etc.. To activate the motion detection the object has to be large and closer than 30 feet. Pan the camera and it recognizes objects at 50-70 feet. What a PITA but this is similar to the 6 other Reolink WiFi cameras of several types. PoE cameras have a greater motion detection range and newer versions have very customized motion detection and alarm settings. This WiFi camera has many settings too but the distance is very short, unreliable and slow to react for small objects if in the detection zone. ONLY recommended for the perfect warm and distance scenarios and no fast moving objects. NOT RECOMMENDED. FLAWED DESIGN. Reolink support offers a replacement of the same poor design but it will cost you to return it to Reolink which is poor customer service for a flawed design or they have offered a refund, which is a huge PITA as it wastes so much time to remove the camera to package it and return it and then find something else and reinstall it. They don't care vs. fixing the flawed design problem and thoroughly test the cameras in all weather conditions and then offer the redesign as a free replacement. I could wait. Otherwise, support is poor, out of country, difficult to understand, they do not read the customer complaint, they make you repeat and repeat your complaints, offer idiotic much time wasting non solutions and just try to wear the customer down, wasting so so much time.20241021 Update: I had high hopes for this all weather camera. But sadly, after 1 month and today at just 0 degrees Celcius / 32 F, the camera no longer rotates left to right but only up and down. The camera is also protected from wind, under a soffet and only MIGHT get a little rain or fog on it. I'M REALLY DISAPPOINTED and perhaps why Reolink put these Argus PT cameras on a discount the last month. This is the second Reolink type camera that has failed being "weatherproof". I've had 2 bullet cameras, both 811A's that leaked water in and now 2 Argus PT cameras, a Pro and Ultra that have failed at 0 degrees C. What a waste of time and money.Camera works well and is much improved over previous WiFi models but the 30 feet of Motion Detection is optimistic and more like 20 feet AND then still not always reliable. THAT is very disappointing. All settings have been checked, changed, tested many times to find the optimal settings and still the motion detection for my use is disappointing. WiFi signal at 2.4 GHz is very good at 160 feet. I also got it connected to my smartphone via the phone HotSpot and Data when WiFi is not available and that works well enough but slower to connect. As usual with other times of contacting Reolink Support, the support is a joke, horrible, frustrating and more frustrating, trying to get one to give up vs. solving the problem. I despise Reolink support. Was able to get the camera on a lightning deal discount as it is not worth the full retail price, especially not if one has a problem and needs Reolink support.

Won’t charge right out of the box and getting a replacement is not an option you have to return it and buy again waste of everyone’s timeEdit got my money back and ordered another one.. the day before arriving amazon returned it on me with no reason and said I could order for a 3rd time since I was refunded.. Reolink customer service was great and tried to help but since it’s shipped from Amazon there is not much they can do. Unfortunately it was in the form of a gift card not back on my debit so I ordered it one more time only because of the customer service I get from Reolink they go above and beyondOne star for Amazon 5 stars for Reolink

I have several of their 4MP and 5 MP solar powered cameras and they have performed excellent!! It works during the day and night vision at night. We live on a 6 acre lot in higher altitude and it rains a lot here but cameras are always charged ready to go. The pictures are really good during the day but can be hard to see on a rainy night as one would expect with night vision. There are many settings you can choose via the Reolink app. The motion sensor also adds to the security system and can also be customized for what you need. I have been running the cameras for over a year and so far so good. Had one issue with one camera as it stopped responding and wouldn’t get on line but Reolink quickly replaced it (after sending the one I had back).Customer service is excellent!! Very quick responses and their team makes you feel like they listen and care about resolving any issues you may.I would highly recommend any of their products!!

الكاميرا ممتازة لكن مشاكلها جدا كثيرة بداية من عدم فعالية الشحن باللوح الشمسي وبالتالي انتهاء الشحن ونهاية بانقطاع الاتصال بالإنترنت المتكرر رغم قرب رواتر الانترنت من الكاميرا والذي لا يتعدى المتر !! وبالتالي فالكاميرا غير عملية وعديمة الجدوى وفوق هذا كله البائع غير متعاون وخدمة مابعد البيع غير محترفة وغير متعاونة .. رفضوا ارجاع الكاميرا بدعوى وجودهم في الولايات المتحدة وبعد المسافة وادعاء انتهاء وقت الارجاع وهذا غير صحيح .. اكتب هذا التقييم توضيحا لتجربتي مع البائع والكاميرا حتى يستفيد غيري ...

The Reolink camera is very nice, easy to set up and the interface is fairly easy to use, with storage being local and not requiring a subscription to keep files. Pan/Tile/Zoom (PTZ) speed is decent with an expected momentary delay. The biggest downfall with this camera system so far, is the true lack of motion detection. The motion detection range (even on the most sensitive setting) is pretty close to the camera, so motion at longer distances aren't picked up. If you're looking for an early warning camera system, this may not the one for you, but if you want a system you can check remotely and view around the area; this is very nice.UPDATE: Have worked with customer service as I purchased versions with auto-tracking (this model does not have that) and I will say...their customer service is spot on and nice to work with.
