This was a beautiful piece of art. The seller was very good about reaching out and communicating. My son is studying Japanese and making calligraphy so I thought this would be a perfect gift. I had confirmed with him the style of Japanese but should have told him my intentions because apparently his name was spelled incorrectly due to no fault of the seller. In Japanese names are spelled phonetically not letter by letter as him name in English. So ultimately his stamp does not reflect the correct translation of his name in Japanese. Be clear when you order to relay how the name you wish to be displayed is pronounced. Otherwise, the box is pretty , the seller was reachable, and the product ultimately is one of a kind.

After two use, the bottom crack without dropping it. The ink is not good.I recommend to buy a different ink from the US.

Fun seal to use on correspondence but I wish the instructions for making a choice in the lettering were more clear. I think I could have had a better finished product had I known exactly how to order the personalization.
