It was very easy to assemble. We just popped it in between our sliding glass door and the sliding screen for summertime use, so we haven’t actually done any drilling or proper insulation yet, but it works great this way. We will have to install it properly for the winter or take it out. We really wanted it for the summer when the dogs are in and out frequently.

The product itself is great, very easy to install and fits well. The problem is with the weather stripping provided. The glue on the window sweep strip is so low tack paper won't even stick to it. Be prepared to spend more $$ and get weather stripping that works.

Great product, so easy to install.Dog took to it right away. He’s a 66lb Aussiedoodle and he squeezes through no problem. He loves being outside so this was a perfect solution.

English:I don't if it's because or sliding door standard are different in Canada, but boy that didn't fit well... I had to improvise in many step to paliate to the level difference between the door and this...The foam was too thick if i installed it wasn't able to lock anymore... The rest is great the glass seam a good quality, the dog door is magnetic wich is great. But boy it was a challenge.Français :Je sais pas si les standards des portes canadienne sont différentes, mais boys que c'était pas du même niveau du tout... Y a fallu j'improvise pour faire fiter le lock... Après quand j'ai mis le tampon à la place désigné celui-ci était trop épais pu capable de verrouiller encore improvisé pour palier le jour que ça laissais... Bref sinon la vitre semble être de bonne qualité et la portière et magnétique ce qui est bien. Mais ce fut tout un défi faire de quoi de décent avec tout ça

My dogs learned how to use this quickly. I got the large and it is perfect for my 55lb. German Shepherd and 40lb. Blue heeler. The size is suitable for them and they use it to go outside on their own when I’m asleep. That alone made it worth the purchase. The product was relatively easy to put together and even easier to install since it has a retractable spring mechanism to pop it easily in the door frame. I highly recommend this product.

In de winter is het fijn als de deur dicht kan maar dat onze hond nog wel de vrijheid heeft om naar buiten te gaan. Het materiaal is nou niet echt een stevige constructie.We hebben er een houten frame o.heen gemaakt niet inde laatste plaats omdat hij te laag was voor onze pui. Wat ik overigens van te voren al wist.Ik ben opzich tevreden maar vind de kwaliteit en prijs verhouding niet passen.

We bought and installed the XL version for our two 35kg Alaskan Malamutes. They quickly learnt how to use it, and can now continue to sleep outside in the winter - at 0 degrees celsius - as they like it, without letting the cold in. Excellent solution!The closure foam and tape provided were not too good though, they became unglued after a few days. I had to buy other ones separately which have worked much better. But that's a small detail.

Tengo la puerta hace cerca de 1 mes. Fue fácil de instalar, sin otra herramienta que un destornillador. Buena calidad, aluminio y cristal, los perros se acostumbraron rapidamente. Solo le veo una pequeña pega, que es sobre el alineamento de los dos paneles que componen la puerta. No quedan perfectamente juntos, por lo que deja una muy pequeña ranura por donde entra el aire.
