After reviewing wifi floodlight cams for the last couple of months, and returning 2 of them (Bazz from Costco), this is by fat the best deal anywhere! For the price, the camera provides really good picture quality and resolution, day and night. It was simple and straight forward to install and get connected. I love the features, 2-way audio, Google integration, and ease of use. No need to buy an SD card as it already comes with one. The siren, kind of gimmicky, is not loud at all, and can be turned off for motion detection. I like the wide field of view, although just a little bit distorted, but covers the entire backyard.Overall, a great camera for the money!!!

Good video quality and tunable motion detection. Very easy to set up and connect to the free app. Build quality is great metal body is sturdy. Camera and light are adjustable and swing in almost any direction. If you plan on hooking it up to the soffits like me there is nothing to worry about it adjusts nicely.

Overall great product, very easy to install, and I consider myself average on the handyman score.Amazing camera quality, the micro sd card as storage is a big plus, since i didnt want to pay for monthly subscriptions.Night vision is great too. Flood light is top jotch with very bright, and inbuilt two way communication feature with siren comes in really handy. The motion detection however is very very sensitive, even a passing by cars light triggers rhe motion sensing on the camera but other

The unit is solid and well built the lights are very bright and can be turned on from App the siren is not that loud and a Bit cheesy biggest issue is motion detection is very flaky it will detect snow flakes on low sensitivity or even bugs so it shoots off alot of false alarms and some days it works perfectly and some days it disconnects alot but not sure if thats my wifi !! Picture is great quality all in all good security cam if they could improve motion detection i would give 5 stars !!

HOWEVER doesn't rotate on its own, I forgot about that option. I would just buy the one where you can remote control the tilt of the camera. But no subscription which is nice.

One of the cheapest floodlight cameras that doesn't require a subscription and has 24/7 recording instead of just motion clips. Easy to install and the LEDs are very bright. Definitely recommend.

I just switched from another security camera brand to Lorex and am so disappointed with the camera and app. There is very limited functionality for the device. I can not change the zones, have people or pet detection. Weather sets it off. Can only be signed into one device at a time for viewing. Can not get the app to load or change within google home or Alexa .floodlight settings are extremely limited. The only good thing it has going for it so far is it states it will work in extreme cold weather. That was the only reason I switched from the google nest camera. When I get notifications that there is activity I open app and video is not there at all. Thinking of returning it as it is not what I expected from Lorex at all

We have an older house and all 5 of the Spot/Flood lights are mounted on the Soffit under the eave. Almost all new spot/flood lights, especially nicer camera ones are designed to mount on the wall or vertical surface. Many say specifically that they will not work on the Soffit. These didn't specifically say that so I thought I'd buy 1 to try. It worked, so we changed them all over and now have 360° camera views around the house! If you look at my pics you can see the process. Here is what I did1. Unpackage light2. Flip it to see internally mounted power supply, then remove by removing 2 screws. There is enough wire to pull it out and let it dangle to the side.3. You will see the mounting points for the 2 lights and the camera. The metal circles with a tab are what holds them in. You can see that when you rotate any of them they only let you go so far. This is so you don't turn and turn and turn to the point where the wires bind up. When you try to re-orient the camera, it will turn to the needed position fine, but the tabs stop the lights from going to the needed position. So....we need to remove the tabs.4. Now because of the way the wires go through the circles, it is impossible to completely remove them without cutting wires. I was able to turn them to the center and use a cutoff wheel to cut them off without disassembly. You do run the risk of damaging the wires or housing. If you feel more comfortable; cutting wires, removing the circles, and re-assembling is an option, so feel free to do so.5. How ever you get there, once the tabs are gone for the 2 lights, they can be turned to the proper position to fit under the eave on the soffit. Just don't rotate more than once, or you can twist and damage the wires.6. Carefully re-install the power supply, make sure you do not pinch any of the wires. Then you are free to install per the instructions. Install is straight forward and easy. Set up through the App is very easy and the cameras are overall great. The biggest perk for these is that the data is stored on a card and not on a cloud. There is no service to pay for. They will continue to work if your internet goes down.We purchased the Lorex doorbell and several interior cams for the house and outbuildings as well. Overall great system. If I were to make a complaint, it would be a very minor one.....the flood lights themselves, while bright, are definitely older LED technology. They don't have the bright white color or diffused look that the newer style lights have. But the functionality for my needs far outweigh this small detail.

First thing, I love Lorex does not trick you into a subscription like Ring does. I find the Ring to be very deceptive and should be more forthcoming that even though you bought their equipment it won’t work unless you buy a yearly subscription.Lorex offers a free app and that’s how it should be. From the app you can use this floodlight like a ring doorbell. You can turn it on/off, talk through the light using the app, etc. Super handy. This floodlight is heavy duty. It isn’t made of cheap plastic but rather, surprisingly, strong metal. I bought this to light monitor my second acre on a garage. Its 15’ up and very bright.Installation was a breeze and comes with everything you need. Of note, get this synced to your Lorex app before going up the ladder. I got it linked first then moved it into position. I didn’t want to scan the QR code for the app when I’m on a ladder. It has a siren, but it’s not loud. Maybe it’s because it’s so high up? I don’t use the siren and that’s a great thing too. You can customize this light to fit your needs. I have it running 24/7 and it only lights up from Dusk to Dawn.I highly recommend. Doing things over I should’ve bought their doorbell. Instead I was duped into the Ring. Hope this helps.

The installation was super easy with the app. Setup was very easy with the app as well. The quality of the video is very good, even at night. The ability to hear sound is a nice feature as well. Oh, and no monthly fees to deal with. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that the notifications are useless. It will notify you every time there is a shadow, if the wind blows, if a light comes on and shines in the area, or if a moth flies by. If somehow it was able to differentiate between a real object and a false alarm, it would be perfect.
