I recently purchased this wireless security camera system and I must say, it is by far the best I've ever used. The wireless cameras can transmit through multiple rooms without any issues, even when they are quite far from the receiver. The image clarity is absolutely incredible and easily surpasses the competition. The audio quality is also top-notch, allowing you to hear clearly from a considerable distance.One of the features that stand out the most is the mobile app. It is incredibly user-friendly, allowing for easy searching without the hassle of scrolling through endless hours of footage. The camera's ability to detect people and provide time snapshots for quick review is a game-changer. The night vision works excellently as well, providing clear images of specific people even in low to zero light conditions.I did encounter a small issue initially, but the seller's response was outstanding. They rectified the situation promptly and provided amazing customer service. This kit was pretty much the same as another kit that I had used in the past, but with better resolution cameras and and a bigger HDD. There's always a bit of a lag with wireless systems, but this system isn't any worse than the system that I've used in the past.Ideally the cameras could have had a wider-angle, but they are still very usable indoors (better if your ceiling is higher of course), but most importantly, the wireless signal is very good and I don't have any signal issues in a fairly large house with lots of walls (some concrete walls as well).

As supplied, everything worked great out of the box. I followed the supplied instructions and tested everything as recommended, it all worked. Originally I had decided on wired cameras over wireless but I did not want to have to run network cable to every camera. In reality I wound up doing that anyway for six out of eight cameras just for the camera power as I did not have outlets available in the locations I wanted the cameras. It is true that you get what you pay for as I could have used the three megapixel cameras but I paid a bit more for the fives and they ARE that much better. The motion detection takes a bit to sort out as it has a few ways it can be set up, all motion, human detect, face detect and whatever you set up has sensitivity adjustments. I had one camera on human detect and it did not see the Moose standing in front of it on the recording. I had to contact the company with regard to the email notification. I use Google and there was a bit to go through with gmail to get that set up, but it was not that big a deal. It was probably harder to navigate Google than to get the NVR to send email alerts. The emails are an alert only and do not send a picture of the activity but the activity that caused the email is recorded. The NVR does not appear to be able to send texts. We use the mobile app (XMEye Pro) on the cellphones, and it works great other than it has ads. Tech support is excellent other than the delay in communicating as they are in China but they DO respond and supply information to deal with the issue. The antenna on the camera, as viewed from the front, is on the right rear. I needed to mount a couple of the cameras on a flat surface with the camera facing hard right and the antenna would not allow this. I had to modify the camera and move the antenna to the opposite side, so I probably ended the warranty for those cameras. I let the company know this and Sue said she would let their development team know. I would NOT recommend anyone do the same modification, but I do not have a solution other than what I did. I mounted the cameras on die cast round junction boxes (Amazon) and it made the installation a snap as I could put all the wiring in the box and the box easily screws down for mounting.

The cameras are pretty good overall, but the software support is lacking—there's basically none. Some menu details are even in Chinese in the user manual. That said, I've been using them for the past year without any major issues. Every now and then, you might need to turn one camera off and back on to get it working again

It was working perfect , After 9 month no more recording storage availability on hard drive memory.I tried to restart, reset I did all options but no result ,I hope the saller can replace the hard drive for me.

Relatively easy to set-up, I would rate the system as 4-star HOWEVER customer service was definitely 5_star. System came with a storage drive that wasn't 100%, delays to replace would be awhile. They suggested I do a search with amazon and was given vouchers for Amazon to cover the full price of a replacement drive. System was up and running in 3 days. Pictures show the 8 camera set-up day and night views

Easy to set up, works well, but only 7 of the 8 cameras work. Will have to contact smonet to see if they will replace camera. The camera that doesn't work powers up but won't transmit.

This is by far the most amazing security system i ever had..the price was right and after using the brand hiseeyou..this is so far ahead of it ...absolutely delighted with SMONET
