These work alot better than the telus cameras. The audio they can pick up is absolutely unreal. The picture is clear and the set up couldnt be easier. Literally just plug them in and they work. The only reason its not a 5 star is the setting that lets you block out certain areas of the camera doesnt work very well, for instance one of mine points to my front driveway and it picks up almost every car that drives by. If i set it to block out the street sometimes it wont work. So i just leave that setting off.

The Defender Phoenix HD Wireless Security Camera System is a great security camera and super easy to set up. Basically, it is a plug and play – you plug in the camera, then plug in the monitor and voila! The touch screen monitor shows, in color of day or night vision at night, exactly what you have it aimed at. That is it! The resolution of the picture is very clear. I needed to replace an older security camera that I keep on my back porch because periodically where we live, we have cougars and actually had one peeking in our back door one morning. My home office is sort of close to the camera so I just have the monitor on a shelf in that room since I am there a lot. However, I can move the monitor from room to room. This system records video and audio. There is a 128 GB SD card that came with it. I like that it alerts me to any motion – since we have deliveries and wild animals both, so it is great to be notified when something’s going on. I love this camera!! I have purchased two wireless cameras than I could not get to work because they would never connect to the wireless internet, despite multiple other devices connecting just fine. I very much recommend this security system if you want something super easy with good quality to set up at your place.

These cameras are very easy to setup and are very reliable. There are pros and cons to a system like this that does not use an Internet connection, but for me this is a great upgrade. I needed a system to watch my property and record, not to notify me every time someone walks by, and this does that beautifully. The cameras images are clear and good quality. Setup is about as easy as possible, and the operation is equally simple. Both of my cameras are exposed to the elements, including snow, and I haven't had any issues so far.

Wow, this is a super nice security camera system. It comes with a camera, monitor, and SD card. I really love you do not have to have WIFI for this system to work. Transmission between the camera and monitor is wireless which is great. There are only 2 things I don't like...that you have to drill a hole through your house for the camera to plug in or have a weatherproof plug that a thief could not easily unplug and the other thing is there is no way for you to be notified when you are not home. Odd the two things I am not wild about are the things I like...not having to go over WiFi. I figured out a work around though. Since I am usually at my desk, I can use it there to see what is going on outside and then I can use my other system to contact me on my phone if gone. This system was simple to set up and has a nice large screen so you can easily see what is in front of the camera. I really like this but am in the middle of moving so will pack it up to install on my new house. This is a very nice system but I am thinking you would want to order one with all 4 cameras. Mine came with one for review purposes and I do like it well enough to buy the other cameras or if not available, buy the system with 4 cameras. This system is a winner.

I mounted these cameras in my yard & ran the lines into my shed to plug into an outlet. They work as described. From inside my house, I can view my entire backyard on the included monitor. The imaging is clear, even at night. I like to check before letting my dogs out, especially after dark. That way I can alert any wandering critters & give them time to move on before we head out. It keeps us all safe. No subscription is needed, no monthly fees, & no app. The monitor does need to be plugged into an outlet while in use. This system is basic, not exactly ideal for thorough security, but it does work as intended & I'm happy with it.
