Excellent pole saw. Good reach. Assembly is simple. Disassembling is not easy but I don't really care that much about that. The saw is self oiling and operates smoothly. Chain cuts through branches with ease. It's not the lightest saw I've used but the balance is good as long as you're not overextended. The 2 amp battery that it comes with has enough power to make a number of cuts before needing recharging. I also purchased a 6 amp battery for even greater longevity. It's not the easiest tool to store assembled but it can be Disassemble with some effort. All in all, it's a good value for the money and much better made than some I have had in the past.

I love this, actuallly a chainsaw with a long pole. Works great. Only drawback is that it is heavy, but that is to be expected.

I hesitated because the application warned me that it was an item frequently returned. The ordered a new one, and received a box that had been opened, parts stuffed without separator. I returned and received a new one.It is SMALL. You only have to follow instructions for use precisely, and it is a WONDERFUL tool. It is versatile, the wand can be shortened. Full length the user will have to have stable footing, use both hands AS instructed, and possess forearm and wrist strength. If operator fulfills that, the stability is excellent. There is more weight at the bottom with the battery. It actually lasted longer than I expected, pruning two adult 20 ft Japanese Maples before I had to change batteries. The lock is completed enough that you have to consciously close it for the saw to run. Conversely, because that is also the lower weight bearing hand, releasing to stop takes a second for the thought to reach the hand.It gets dirty. Stop and check while using. If you don't, chips and sawdust may possibly fill the housing and throw the chain. Follow instructions: remove battery and wear heavy/cut resistant gloves when handling chain. It is not a toy, it is sharp. Re-setting chain is VERY easy with tool provided.
