We have blinds in our bedroom, and the early morning sun can be pretty intense. Lately, I've been needing a nap in the afternoons, so I’ve been looking for a solution that doesn’t involve installing curtains. These blackout curtains have been a great alternative. They’re super easy to install and do help darken the room.That said, they’re made of a material that feels a bit like a shower curtain, which gives them a somewhat cheap feel. The overall look isn’t the most stylish either. If you're after an affordable way to block out light, these will definitely do the job. But if you're looking for something more aesthetically pleasing, you might want to keep searching.

Blocking heat is great with this as it has this silver blocking of UV light keeping the room nice and cold. it drop down 3 degree in tempeture after putting it on. Helps keep my room nice and cold when my dog is in the room. I like how the valcow I can peel off the top of and let in some light but also make sure the bottom is dark.

I bought this with the intent to darken my room and improve my sleep. While this has managed to do that, I am actually blown away by how much cooler my room is now. I always thought the heat in my place was from being on the top floor of a building with no air conditioning, but I guess it is the west facing sun. 2 types of adhesives are included in the package - circular sticker pads which are VERY sticky, and Velcro pads presumably if you’re installing the sheet on a window you would want to somewhat frequently remove. It also comes with a bag if you don’t use all of the provided material. Upon unboxing, the sheet is wrinkled and has fold marks. One thing I will mention is that the outward facing side is silver, reminiscent of the matte side of aluminum foil, so if your neighbours are close by and the sun reflects at the wrong angle, they may have a few complaints. It cuts real easily. Use a long straight object to help guide your knife.

I cut the sheet to size and used it on our Velux window to block out the summer sun while using a projector - absolutely brilliant! The included sticky mounts are incredibly strong, so there’s no worry about the material falling down. Highly recommend!

Tengo una ventana de la casa (la del baño) que en verano cuela muchísimo calor en la casa y me obliga a taparla un par de meses. Este estor me va como anillo al dedo, de tamaño va más que sobrado (hay que cortar a tu gusto), es impermeable, se sujeta muy bien y no deja pasar nada de luz. Además, es fino y ligero, lo que ayuda en su manipulación, corte y sujeción. La verdad es que estoy contento✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️ Espero que mi comentario te haya sido útil ✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️
