I love these curtains so much, this is my 4th set. They are true black out (I've bought greyish white and linen. The colours are very neutral and the quality is fantastic. It's a true linen material curtain. Very classy and looks good in any room.

I got these for my large living room window that gets full sun from April to Oct (when it is sunny out). My apartment has been cooking hot the last few years and I can't take it anymore, so I am trying to find economical ways to control the temperature in my apartment. I had been using regular curtains in addition to my blinds prior to this and while it certainly helped, my apartment was still almost unlivable at times. I put these up this morning and the sun came out and started blasting my apartment earlier this evening. I closed the blinds, which dealt with the initial blast of sunlight, but when I closed these curtains, the heat stopped dead. It was awesome. It is still not very hot here (probably low 20s today (Celsius)) (come on American friends! It is time to make the switch to Celsius!). I don't yet know how they will do in real heat (30 - 40 C) but I am assuming that they will at least help. I am continuing to explore other options (blocking out my skylights etc) and I would love it if my end solution negated the need for AC, but I am pretty doubtful that that will be the case given that I am on the 4th (top floor) of a 25 year old building without central air).My hope is that these will prove to be a much more environmentally friendly way to manage heat and at least reduce the amount of time I need to run and AC for (which should also save me money).These curtains do not have the full black out effect I was hoping for, but that's ok given these are in my bedroom and not my living room. The black out material is light in colour, which I think is better for windows that get direct sunlight as white reflects light but black absorbs it and then releases the heat into your living area as it cools.Packaging was minimal, which I like. I don't really know what they mean by sheerness - do they feel silky? No. But I don't like silky stuff and that is fine with me. They are a bit wrinkled from the packaging (expected) but I am hoping that will just 'fall out' over time versus me having to take down the curtains and wash / iron themI don't notice any noise reduction so far. I am hoping the main noise reduction will come from being able to keep my windows closed because my apartment is cooler as it feels like I am in the Bronx sometimes in the summer (violin, parties, people fighting, kids playing, kids screaming at video games etc).

Great blackout curtain, completely blocks light from window. Well made, easy to hang. Lighter than expected, which is a good thing. True to colour. Can’t speak yet to insulating capabilities in terms of blocking drafts but I would imagine would help with keeping sunny rooms cool

Blocks out light at night. Street lights, neighbors lights and moon light are no longer a problem.Even with the back lining, the curtains are light in weight.

I took a chance on these curtains as I normally wouldn’t order something like this from Amazon, but I’m so glad I did. I bought “grey white” and they look great in my home. They do need a good ironing before hanging but once all the crease lines are ironed out, they look and feel great. They have a good weight to them, and I really nice textured look and feel.I’ll be buying more of these for the bedrooms upstairs.

I bought these to cover my sliding glass door. We have had a scorching summer so far, and my house was heating up so quickly from the light and heat from my large sliding glass door. I wanted something that was visually attractive but blacked out a lot of the light and heat. These do both!! They are beautiful and great quality. The material has a nice weight to it and blocks out a ton of light. I keep them closed during the day and can already tell a difference in the room temperature. My air conditioner isn't running none stop! I already bought another pair for another room . My only suggestion it the be advised when you are measuring, you have to deduct the amount above the grommets. We initially measured when hanging the curtain rod from the very top to the bottom of the curtain. When we place the curtain on the rod ,we lost a couple of inches in the total length, making the curtain not touch the floor like I wanted. So, measure from the bottom of the grommet rings when hanging.

WOW! I am so impressed with these curtains. They are worth every penny. The fabric is heavy and it has a grey flannelish backing. Looks as good from the outside looking in as inside looking out... Yes they're wrinkled but I think they'll be fine when I throw them in the dryer with a damp washcloth. The grayish white, for some reason, are much cheaper than the other colors, and they go with anything. I bought blackout curtains at Costco a year or 2 ago and I thought they were great, but these are even better. The blackout properties of these are far superior to the Costco ones (and I was happy with the Costco ones) - no light at all. I haven't tried the other more expensive colors but if they are as good as these, then they too are worth it. I would buy these again without hesitation. (And I ordered these late in the day and they arrived sometime the same night! Another wow!)

I absolutely love these blackout curtains! They are exactly what I was looking for to create a dark and peaceful atmosphere in my bedroom. The material is thick and completely blocks out sunlight, even during the middle of the day. They also help reduce noise and provide an extra layer of insulation, keeping the room cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.Not only are they functional, but they also look great! The fabric has a nice, elegant feel, and they hang beautifully. Installation was easy, and the curtains glide smoothly on the rod. If you're looking for blackout curtains that do the job perfectly while still adding style to your room, I highly recommend these!
