I recently added the SwitchBot Hub Mini to my smart home setup, and it’s been a practical addition. The device is compact and easy to set up, letting me control infrared appliances like my air conditioner through the SwitchBot app. The Smart Learning mode made setup quick by replicating existing remotes. It integrates well with voice assistants and adds a lot of convenience to daily routines.

Everything works as described. I have a hub mini and two bot button pushers that all are integrated with Alexa and controlled from Alexa voice commands.However two very important steps were needed that are not mentioned anywhere. First is that you need to go into the switchbot app and under each device setting make sure the cloud services option is enabled.That will allow Alexa to find you switchbot devices assuming you already installed the Switchbot skill.Now the buttons work but not with normal Alexa language. To fix that you need to go into the Alexa app and click on New Routine. From there you click on "When this happens". Then click on voice and type in something that makes sense like Alexa open my blindsinstead of Alexa turn on my blinds. Then pick the switchbot. I set them up as a control group. Once you have done that, all works as described. 3 stars because it does work but instructions are horrible

“Was cool, stopped working after a couple of weeks. Now it’s just dead.”After leaving my initial review, SwitchBot jumped in and made things right. They immediately contacted me telling me they would fix it. They sent me a new one , and fast at that.Devices breaking happens, but the quality of after service and support is what makes a company great. SwitchBot is truly a great company that cares about their customers and stands out when it comes to support.I would have no problem buying any products they sell knowing that they will stop at nothing to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. A+++

If your looking to use it as a fully integrated system with wifi? You will need a hub!! They were a bit confusing at first to connect but got it done. if using on a multi switch light? It can be a bit of an issue, but the switch can still be used manually if required. I recommend this product and will be purchasing additional units.

The SwitchBot Hub Mini is the maestro conducting a tech orchestra in my living room – it's like the gadgets formed a band, and now they're playing in perfect harmony. Controlling my TV and air conditioner feels like being the tech DJ at a party where gadgets dance to my commands.Linking SwitchBot to Wi-Fi is the digital equivalent of throwing a gadget into the tech jungle, and it emerged as the Tarzan of connectivity. Alexa and Google Home now have a new friend, and I suspect they're planning a tech takeover while I'm not looking.Now, the 4 stars come with a twist. The required 5V1A or 5V2A USB adapter is like the backstage pass to the tech concert. It's a must-have, but occasionally I wish it came with its own theme song to announce its charging prowess.In conclusion, the SwitchBot Hub Mini is a 4-star tech wizard, turning my living room into a smart kingdom. If you're ready for a tech wonderland where gadgets communicate like they're in a group chat, this hub is your ticket to a digital symphony! 🎵🤖🌟

I am not some techno neophyte yet I could not make this hub work with ANY of our devices. I bought 2: One for the bedroom and one for the living room. Both set ups should have been simple matters. In the bedroom, I only needed it to work with a Telus Set Top Box and a Sony TV. Whether I added the devices to the hub using the pull down menu or by using the learning function, not even the power button worked. I got the TV to turn on and off but the Cable Box wouldn't cooperate even though it was specifically listed as a compatible device. Down in Living Room, it was the same story - it wouldn't work with the Telus Cable Box and I couldn't / wouldn't learn a single button click of our B&O Beo Centre IR Remote. I gave it a couple of hours of my time and now they are both in a return envelope.

Switchbot is making me Coffee every morning for the last three years.A great addition to my Smart Home. I added my Breville Coffee machine to Alexa by turning the coffee machine on in the morning and once I return home.I also added Switchbot to control my old aircon to start cooling once the room temp is too high and we are at home.Switchbot is easy to use and install and very reliable.Highly recommended.

I recently purchased the Switchbot Curtain Rod 2 and installed this is my bedroom. They work fantastically, but it was a little frustrating having to open the app every time i wanted to open/close the curtains. The app is very well designed but it just felt like a faff to keep going into my phone every time. As a result i decided to order the swithbot button which works great. On further research i came across the hub mini which allows your switchbot devices to connect with Alexa/Google Home. Having a ton of alexas in our home i thought i would order and give it a try.The hub mini is a very small and compact device. Installation was super easy, connect to a USB power source (cable but no plug included - however i just plugged the included USB lead into a wall socket with USB power points). Connecting the hub to the app was again very simple - the app walks you through this. Within a couple of minutes i had linked the hub to the relevant switchbot Alexa skill and voila - my curtains were now Alexa controlled! Once connected to your wifi network you can also remotely control devices away from your home environment, such as opening your curtains from work or even abroad! Fantastic for security.What i was not aware of is that the hub mini also has an infrared sender, so you can set this little guy up to control your other smart devices - this includes your TV, Projectors, Sky etc. Programming the device to control my Optoma projector was a piece of cake - the app again walks you through this and inputing the manufacturer and model number of your smart device finds the relevant IR codes. You then walk through a test screen to ensure the buttons are all doing what they are suppost to do. If any of the buttons don't work properly or your device is not known then the app allows you to send your own IR codes directly by pointing your remote at the hub and pressing the relevant button. It auto learns this code and programmes the remote in the switchbot app.Overall if you have switchbot devices then the hub mini is a must! It's good value and has a ton of extra features that i didn't even know it had.I hope that you found my review helpful.

Es indispensable para poder sacar el máximo partido a todos los componentes. Ya sea para hacer seguimiento o poder encender los dispositivos fuera de casa, es básico tenerlo. Funciona muy bien y se configura de forma sencilla.
