I’m using two of the Smart Curtain Motor (Rod) in two rooms in my house.Set up and updated through Aqara app and then integrated with HomeKit without issue. One of them throws the occasional “no response in HomeKit” which I think is related to Zigbee signal strength. Generally speaking the connectivity, reliability, and operation has been seamless.They *do* make noise during operation, but it’s not super intrusive in my opinion. Perhaps not suitable for light sleepers if you plan on using them in a bedroom.I use them with daily automations and Siri commands without fail. As usual, another solid HomeKit product from Aqara.

Works well in Home Assistant using ZHA. Luckily, you can set the closing/opening limits from the unit itself without the need to install any of their spyware apps.If you have slippage, light sanding of the rod solved the problem.In my case, I used a 1-inch gas pipe due to the length of the curtain. Worked great!I hope they expose more functionality to ZHA in the near future.

Took off a star because you need a separate hub to connect for Google,Alexa support. I got this as the other brand can’t handle the extension rods and would get stuck. This works a good 90% of the time but does require you to use some included parts and I added some tape to make the lip of the extension less of an issue.It is quiet enough not to wake me at 5am for the scheduled closing of the blackout curtains.

I purchased this product due to the HomeKit compatibility. Eventually I got it to work, but it took a bit of an effort.First of all, there is only ONE unit in the pack. I made a false assumption that there would be two. I used the unit on old IKEA aluminum rails. The reach of the hooks is ~2mm too short to reach the IKEA loops… another rather frustrating discovery. (Note that the new version of IKEA rails should work just fine). I ended up making extension loops out of 12 gauge copper wire: workable, but not ideal solution. The app is a work in progress. It works, but could definitely be improved, particularly when it comes to the vocabulary / terminology.Also note that when installed, the product is far from silent. It appears that the sound travels via the rail hooks to the rail and gets amplified by the rail.All in all, if you don’t mind the price tag and ready to spend some time to get this product to work, it will do the trick. Don’t expect the performance of the Lutron blinds, but this option (particularly for larger windows) is also a fraction of the price tag.P.S.If you cannot connect this unit to the hub, make sure that your hub firmware is up to date!

The idea behind the solution is perfect but it did not deliver the outcome. The solution is not strong enough to pull the weight limit stated in the box.

カーテンボックスに取り付けるには以下の点で障害がある。本体が大きいためカーテンボックスに干渉する。取り付け金具部分が太いためカーテンボックスの中のカーテンレールに取り付けるのに困難が伴い、なんとか取り付けてもカーテンの取り付け金具が入らない。無理やりつけても壁と干渉しているので途中で停止してルート設定できない。センサーが壁を向いており窓からの外光を感知できない。現状では機能を十分に発揮するにはカーテンレールを裸で窓の上ギリギリで取り付けている場合に限られる。
