Some assembly required, and let me tell you, the color and texture of the wood are just delightful! The pre-drilled holes make putting it together a breeze. A helping hand is all you need to kickstart the process. Once you start, it's smooth sailing, especially with a trusty drill in hand. And if you don't have one, fear not! The package includes a screwdriver and all the screws you need. Surprisingly sturdy, it can hold a substantial amount. I tested it with a 5-pound bag of peanuts, and it handled half of it like a champ! While the seats may be snug for my chubby squirrels, they wasted no time enjoying their new hangout spot!

I liked it. I thought it was cute, but apparently the squirrels didn't. One of the seats fell off soon after I put it out. Now it's weather beaten & the nuts are rotten. I'm going to relocate it & see if it attracts them somewhere else. They're still eating the bird seed in the bird feeder. Grrr.😠

The advertising pictures are really nice with squirrels sitting on the little stools, but in reality, this is too idealistic. The squirrels fight to get in position and do not allow another one to be there. Furthermore, the feed hopper accumulates the peanuts and does not allow easy access when the level goes down. I had to glue some pieces of wood so that the feed would flow down towards the access. I found the plexiglass barrier on the ground after the squirrels removed it to get at the inaccessible peanuts, so I had to glue the sides to the frame. Also, the squirrels gnawed at one of the stools and left it bare. NO THANK, YOU! TOO LATE TO RETURN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
