The switch and housing appears to be robust but don't be fooled. As soon as I tried to clip the switch into the housing the plastic retention clips immediately snapped leaving no way to secure the switch in the box. This resulted in the switch (with live wires) dangling out of the box making it totally useless and unsafe. Very disappointed.

Solid part but is a little bigger than it appears in the advertisement. Pay attention to the measurements.

After dealing with the average garbage switches, this switch was a lifesaver. It actually WORKS and on top of that it can easily withstand a work truck. Definitely a very durable and rugged switch+ box that is worth the money.

Used this switch to modify and electric wood splitter in conjunction with a foot pedal. Switch functions as normal, box seems to be keeping weather out. For my application it's working well.
