I am very pleased with this mat.Pros:- The velcro straps work well for storage and for carrying.- It is sufficiently thick and protects your body while you exercise. I've found previous mats to be very thin and uncomfortable for any routine that involves rolling your spine.- It is very sturdy. My mat has no tears despite almost daily usage.- It doesn't slip on a hardwood floor.Cons:-It collects dust fairly easily. However, spraying it with a gentle cleaning solution does the trick.All in all, it is just right. Thick enough to cushion my body yet not so thick that carrying it becomes a pain.

Hi I bought this mat a couple of month ago. I practice Bikram yoga. At the beginning it had a good performance and I was happy with it. A thick mat helps me with my knees when I had to lean them on the mat. The density was still good to do the standing poses. After training 60 days the material lost its elasticity and started to have permanent depressions, like the one on the pictures. Training for another month the deformation got worth. Now it is too uneven to practice poses where I have to sand on one foot. I stopped using the mat.
