A useful accessory to have for anyone with an iPhone or iPad which has a Lightning connector.On my Windows Computer, I formatted a USB Thumb Drive with NTFS , one with exFAT and one with FAT32, to see if they could all be read with this Mcdodo Lightning to USB Adapter and I can confirm everything worked fine.Played some Music and Movies files, and they all played correctly and as long as iOS supports a file format, it should play.Can also be used to connect a camera, mouse, keyboard and other USB accessories, so a versatile adapter to have.I will use this Lightning to USB Adapter when I travel to backup my iPhone photos and videos to USB Thumb Drives to liberate space on my phone and will also be useful to import my Action Camera videos for editing on my iPad. It will provide me with external storage space as I bring several USB Thumb Drives with me to save the media content I create on long trips.It’s small, and made of metal, so it’s solid and looks like a quality product.The only issue I had was with my Otterbox IPhone case which is big, and blocks the adapter from properly connecting to the Lightning port. Once the case was removed, it worked fine.

I got this to use with another USB-A to USB-C adapter to allow a USB-C device to connect to our lightning iPhone and allow it to show the video input from the device. Happy to say that it worked perfectly! An OTG adapter simply from lightning to USB-C would've been better but those are a bit harder to find, so I had to add my own USB adapter which thankfully also supported the video input.
