My wires were striped ever slightly too short, so the rubber managed to completely prevent the screws from going in, that shouldnt happen, my other leviton outlets were designed better.

The Leviton 5262 series receptacles are more expensive than similar receptacles on their market, but they are durable and easy to wire. These offer an improved version of “speed wires” or “back stabs” which fit through channels in the pack and then securely fasten using the screws on the side. These are far more secure than the original speed wires, which relied on a spring-tension mechanism to hold a cable in place that often came undone. There are four pairs of these channels, meaning you could add eight wires to this receptacle if your local code permits.Overall, it was easy to setup, securely held 14-gauge solid wire, and durable. It’s worth the extra money.

This outlet grips my plug very well. With my old outlet, plugs would routinely fall out.Nice wiring options as well. It has 4 holes in the back per side for straight-in wiring. There is also the option for side wiring by wraping the wires around a screw ( 2 screws per side). Nice color options as well. I got Ivory which matched the color of my light switch that is next to it.

This receptacle is well built. The option of back wiring or side wiring is nice. Back wiring may be the preferred method as the aprons which prevent the terminal screws from making contact with a metal electrical box also make it harder to side wire. That said, I feel comfortable with the back wire connections. This thing will hold VERY tightly to a plug, and some may even find that it is a challenge inserting a plug into the receptacle. Overall this is a huge step up from many cheap Residential grade receptacles. Should last many years. Highly recommended.

I’m not an expert, but this outlet looks and feels heavy duty. It also fulfilled my requirements of 4 wires per side.
