After experiencing a disaster using an old metal guide to cut a bifold door down to fit the opening (required a visit to emerg and stitches in the hand) I ordered this extension kit. It’s the perfect addition to my tool eco-system. It gives you the ability to use your circular saw as a rail saw, which effectively replaces in many cases a table saw and a sliding compound miter saw. For the cost it is extremely versatile and easy to use not to mention very safe. The saw glides effortlessly on the guild eliminating the need to use excessive force. Yup one and you won’t regret it.

Les pièces sont légèrement abîmées car la boîte était complètement détruite. Il ne manque aucun morceau.

I have other Kreg products, and they all suit the purpose. I have used the track saw to cut material up to 9 feet long and it cuts on the line with ease.

Really helps running straight lines and grips plywood sheets well.

I actually bought three things from Kreg - the Accu Cut, the Accu Cut expansion pack (this review - so you can cut 8' sheets length wise) and the Rip Cut. The photo shows the Rip Cut. I had to cut 5 sheets of 4x8 1/2" pre-primed nice grade plywood for new pantry shelving - so I also bought a nice fine circular saw blade (a 'fine' Spyder $30 carbide tipped one from Lowes). This plywood is selling for over $50 a sheet now - and these Kreg tools allowed me perfect cuts on all of them ON A DRIVEWAY SUPPORTED BY 2x4's! Some suggestions - slow down and be careful when coming to the end of the cut, sacrifice a few 2x4's to give yourself lots of support - and make sure the blade has stopped before pulling the saw off, watch out for cuts that will allow the plywood to 'pinch' the blade and add support.

I still have to finish putting the new edges on. But I will be ready as soon as the weather gets a little warmer.

I'm making a epoxy table and needed to make a "straight" cut about 82" long in melamine. Son-in-law has a kreg track saw but it's only 50" and I needed longer. This worked great!
