My father-in-law loves Cole Porter music. This hit the spot. He only has four cds and this is one if them. He's hard of hearing, so CP rocks the apartment building. He's happy so I'm happy.

to listen to Cole! Authentisch, gut, schöne Auswahl. Für Liebhaber dieser Musik ein Muss. Passt gut zum Film von Woody Allen "Midnight in Paris".

Ok....this is really a fabulous album of Cole Porter songs, which have NOT been sanitized to suit the censorious tastes of the public at later times in our history. I especially enjoyed the first two songs sung by Cole Porter himself, even though his voice is not nearly as good as most of the other vocalists on the album. In fact, I have several other Cole Porter albums, and this is my go-to favorite. For those of you wondering what I mean by original lyrics, compare the lyrics of Anything Goes on this album to the same song on other albums. You'll see what I mean.
