You can't go wrong with any album by SRV. This record showcases his song writing skills as well as his legendary guitar chops and features several catchy tunes that received radio play. It doesn't reach the blinding intensity of his greatest album, "Couldn't Stand the Weather", but overall it's a strong record and definitely worth owning if you're even a little bit interested in SRV.

This is a masterpiece with every track offering variety and depth. SRV's and Double trouble are at their best belting out blues with a class of Rock influences. I particularly loved 8 mins. Track Riviera Paradise. Crossfire is soul uplifting and Texas Flood cuts you deeper and deeper.Oh man, I love my office travel these days playing this iconic, Grammy winning album.
