Got this for my friend's kid as a present, and he really loved it. All the attachments come in handy, and it's a great kit for beginners. Not a huge investment for someone starting a new hobby, but also solid equipment to work with. He was able to get a great view of the stars, even from the city with all the light pollution. The telescope feels well-made and will withstand some bumps and transportation

I purchased this for my daughter. She was so happy. It has 2 lenses and a cell phone attachment to take pictures with your phone. But my daughter really can appreciate that the hight is adjustable so she doesn’t need to stand on a chair. I personally was impressed with the quality for the price. Recommend for a child’s first telescope. We love that it comes with a backpack too!

I stripped two sets of threads when assembling the telescope. Not good quality. Be cautious when assembling. Spend more on a different brand.

It was easy and quick to assemble. I really like that it comes with a bag to transport the telescope in and different lenses. The quality and price is great for a beginner's telescope. It will get lots of use this summer.

Bought for my grandson to view the moon and planets. Easy to set up. Image quality was good once focus was obtained. Clear views when stable on tripod. Also love the backpack to store scope, tripod and lenses safely.

In short, this thing is awesome!I love that all of the items (phone mount, monocular, cleaning cloth, instructions) fit nicely in the included bag. Lens covers fit nice and snug, and the included instructions are easy to follow.Using the monocular with my phone yielded amazing results. The phone adapter is spring loaded and holds the phone firmly even with a phone case shield attached. There are two positions available for mounting and I beleive this would make it possible to mount almost any phone out there. Using a tripod is necessary, it's not possible to hold it all steady when zooming in at these distances. It mounted easily to the tripod I already had.Results with phone camera are outstanding for the price. It's necessary to use the normal lens on the phone. The telephoto lens on the photo is used in conjunction with the normal lens. Aligning the monocular with the telephoto does not work. Therefore the max magnification on the phone I could use is 1.9x. The included birdfeeder photos were taken at 20 yards. 1) just the phone at 1.9x, 2) the phone at 1.9x with the monocular. I'm pleased with the results.Using as a hand held monocular is just as nice and easy to focus.For the price this is an outstanding product.

Looks like they changed the listing to the newer/better version of the telescope but I received "Versatile 12x50 Monocular Telescope for Hunting and Stargazing" so this review is for that product. It came with a case and phone adopter and when I used it to look out of my window, I could see people moving on the rooftops of buildings so far away that I could not even see them with the naked eye. It is easy to use with the phone too. We would take this out when something going on outside of our apartment lol It is nice to have monocular like this I should say. When I was looking into those, I saw many 12x50 and thought this is a common size but I imagine if I had a better (bigger) one, it would be more fun.
