This package arrived with about $40 of ‘surprise’ additional duties, which I refused. This item is already pricey, never mind hidden surcharges. I suggest finding another option.

I read in the specs that its supposed to be made of carbon HSS steel, which it is not. Some of the bits are already dull, and I only used it in past summer for a few pieces of soft and medium wood (not hard wood). And another thing not specific to this set but general for Brad Point: clip another piece tightly to where you expect the bit to come out. Otherwise it will rip your work piece at the bit exit point.

I am disappointed to report that the drill bit set arrived with two 4.5mm bits and no 5mm bit (the second 4.5mm bit was in the 5mm slot). Other than not having a very critical bit that I need, they appear to be decent quality

I had purchased an inexpensive set of brad-point drill bits from China and returned them. The brad tips were awful and the grinding inconsistent. These Fisch bits are excellent. The tips are sharp and true, and the grinding on each bit is accurate and consistent. If precision in drilling is a requirement, spend the money, get these drill bits and cry only once.

Einwandfrei! Laufen tadellos rund, die Zentrierspitze verdient ihren Namen und sie sind scharf wie verrückt! Aufpassen, wenn man sie aus der Kassette zieht, dass man sich nicht schneidet! Seit ca. einem Jahr in Verwendung, bestimmte Größen verwendet man natürlich häufiger, ich hoffe ich breche keinen der dünnen Bohrer ab, da mit einer Handbohrmaschine schon oft ein bisschen "wackelig". Zum Glück haben die dünnen Bohrer auch ein wenig "Flex", ohne zu brechen. Zur höheren Anwendungssicherheit ist bei dünnen Bohrern zumindest ein Bohrständer, besser noch eine Ständerbohrmaschine zu empfehlen! Sofern einer der Bohrer durch meine Unachtsamkeit abbrechen sollte, gerne wieder!!
