Worked great to install our rocker guards. Used a 1/8" bit to center drill the holes to ensure accuracy then swapped to a step bit to 1/2" and finished with the HSS 11/16" bit which was the right size for the 1/2"-13 rivnuts. When working on painted surfaces, I definitely recommend putting masking tape down to protect paint. Bit stayed sharp and the durability will definitely allow me to use this dill for other projects. Great product and would buy again 👍

Not very often do you need a drill bit this diameter but I happen to be doing some work on a towing hitch and needed to drill out some metal for a hitch pin. This bit was very sharp and did the job well. I would buy it again.

I had to drill a total of 8 holes in 3/16" thick steel (2" x 2" x 3/16" 'Mild Steel' Square Tube). The bit was crying for mercy on the 6th hole. I had to resharpen it, and it made it through the remaining 2 holes. BTW, I used a LOT of oil on ALL of the holes and did so FREQUENTLY.

Seems to be of good quality given the cost. It got 5 stars though I may revise that in the future if/when I use it on steel.
