Installation:
-1. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord.
-2. Let the projector cool for at least an hour. The lamp is extremely hot immediately after use.
-3. Loosen the lamp cover screw. Then slide the lamp cover off.
-4. Loosen the two screws holding the lamp in place.
-5. Hold the lamp as shown and pull it straight out.
Note
- Turn off the power before replacing the lamp.
- Clean the fan and surrounding dust before replacing the lamp to avoid abnormal temperature and cause the projector to malfunction.
- After replacing the new lamp, clear the lamp usage time.
- After turning off the projector, wait for the cooling to complete before unplugging the power cord.
- Avoid other objects blocking the projector, which will cause abnormal heat dissipation, so as not to affect the life of the lamp and other faults.

Product arrived well wrapped, on time, in one piece. Followed instructions on a You Tube video and carefully inserted it after aligning with the slides. Had to give a lighter wiggle and a push as the power connector was a little tight.Bulb works, not quite as bright as I’d hoped. Wife says it’s way better than the old bulb. So there you go.

ma lampe d'origine a 3000 heures , je le vois que c'est moins claire qu'au début , j'ai remplacé par cette lampe qui est 5 fois moins chère qu'une d'origine , le résultat est très décevant elle a la même puissance que ma vieille de 3000 heures , donc j'imagine qu'apres 1000 heures je ne verrez presque plus rien , ca fait la job vu son prix mais moi j'aime mieux mettre le prix d'une original pour faire wow.

Fit in my Panasonic PT-AE8000U perfectly. Picture and brightness are great! Very easy to install. My last bulb lasted 14 months, I’ll have to see how long this bulb lasts but the price was amazing.

Assembly is high quality and perfect fit. 1:1 to original. Light color is very white 1:1 to original. The catch is that all bulbs are seems like 1200 lumen at best, while some quality projectors designed to deliver 2000+ lumens of brightness. If all you need is 1200 lumen - buy with confidence.If your projector designed for more, keep reading....See photo of white screen - original Panasonic 3000h old lamp has pink tint by horizontal plane (pink at the bottom). This lamp has tint by vertical plane (pink on the left). Black looks similar on both (some green tint on both).I remember new genuine Panasonic lamp was so bright that even with 3D glasses it gets 1/2 of brightness, but still great…This cheap lamp is half of brightness when new. Don’t even think to use 3D glasses with it.My genuine lamp is at 3500 hours old and got 1/2 dim, guess what - this lamp as bright as original at 3000..Another words I don’t see much difference in brightness of this one as new versus old original one at 3000 hours.If you at 5000 hours, there probably be some improvement. For 3000 hours of genuine 2400 lumen bulb - this one makes no difference.
