don't use it every day but have drilled a bunch of holes with it. Not dull yet but haven't used it on steel.

Brad point bits are getting harder & harder to find. Especially in these smaller sizes. But this one performed flawlessly on a nerve-wracking job of drilling string-thru-body holes in a Fender Telecaster body. I was worried even with using a drill guide that a drill bit this small might wander off a bit, however this got me six super clean holes in a perfectly straight line. No tear-out or anything.I’ve always been a measure twice & cut once, wrong but once, type guy. And the importance (to me) of the guitar body as a project had me sweating bullets, but this tiny little Dewalt drill bit did an outstanding job!

Bits perform really well, but, a deformation or binding can cause breakage. Otherwise they are an excellent bit for wood. I’ve broken a few but keep buying them.

I ordered 2 of these. One was actually bent slightly and wobbled in the chuck. Both broke after just a handful of holes in normal 2x4 studs.Don’t buy DeWalt bits. They’re bad quality - it surprised me.
