Since I have two docks for my OLED Switch, I wanted to get a proper A/C adapter for my second dock so that it will be able to function the way it's supposed to. Apparently, the Switch can be sensitive to voltage as I found out by trying another USB-C cable and a spare USB brick that I had laying about (the Switch flat out told me it couldn't project an image to the TV). You won't have to worry about that with this charger from RuntoGOL as it almost perfectly mimics the factory unit from Nintendo.Simply plug in the unit and you're ready to go. You can also charge the Switch while playing in handheld mode if you'd prefer. With a cable length of just under five feet, finding an outlet or placing your Switch dock where you like surely won't be an issue.Something else I should mention is that I record gameplay with my Switch via my computer (see last photo). That requires me to have my Switch plugged into the computer, and the image is sent through to my monitor AND the TV I play on. No combination of USB bricks and USB-C cables was able to get the Switch to transmit the image to the TV after it went to the computer. However, when I tried it again with this proper adapter, it worked perfectly. That's very important to me because not only would I like to have the proper charger in the living room (where the Switch lives at times) but I will require it here in my room for game recording and streaming. Needless to say, the proper power supply is an absolute must!I'm very happy with my replacement Switch charger. Now I don't have to worry about the unit receiving incorrect or insufficient voltage and potentially damaging my Switch. If you are looking for a replacement or additional power adapter for your Switch, look no further. 5/5 would definitely recommend

I got this AC adapter for my Switch after getting a second dock for another TV, and it works perfectly! No issues so far—just like the original adapter. It charges quickly and reliably, so I can easily switch between TVs without any hassle. Overall, it's a great replacement if you're looking for an extra adapter for your setup!

Having a second switch charger on hand for charging for for docking in TV mode elsewhere is always handy. This one seems to work just as well as the original.After plugging everything in using both the included dock and a third party dock from Skull & Co, the Docked/TV Mode works seamlessly. It seems to deliver the correct amount of power, which is absolutely necessary to prevent your Switch from bricking itself because the Switch DOES NOT use standard USB-C PD standards and using a conventional charging brick that doe snot provide the rated power evenly can be risky.It definitely doesn't look as nice as the original charger; the plastic feels a little shiny and cheap rather than matte, and the printed text for the charging info looks a little sketch, but it's not enough to detract from it's usability and it's value price.

Ns only accepts their charging adaptors, or those style and can’t just use a regular usb c (like your phone usb c cord) but this one works just as expected.

Comes nicely packaged and as shown in the listing. Was looking for a power adapter to bring along on road trips and this filled the role perfectly. The shorter cable actually worked to my benefit as I had less to cable organize, and was able to leverage the extra power adapter plug in the car. Works just as well as the original and is an easy recommend from me.

When the grandkids come to the cottage they like to bring their Nintendo Switch with them. To facilitate this, we ordered an additional docking station for them so their parents wouldn’t face the considerable hassle of unhooking the one at home. Only after it arrived did we realize that it didn’t come with an HDMI cord or a power supply unit. We have HDMI cords lying around but another power supply was still needed.This unit arrived quickly and was exactly what we were looking for. Within minutes the unit was plugged in and the Switch was up and running. All the cords fit perfectly, everything works as it should, and the grandkids are happy.The performance of this unit seems to mirror that of the original unit that came with the Switch. At roughly half of price of the Nintendo unit, this is a great replacement and ideal for those who, like us, move their Switch between two locations. Recommended.

This item arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in commercial cardboard box as seen in the product images.PROS-This recharged my Switch Lite from completely dead to full power in under 2 hours which is about the time it takes for the original, first party adapter.-The build is comparable to the original adapter; it seems sturdy and durable.-The original adapter sells for $40 CAD so this item is significantly cheaper; the 5 foot version currently sells for $23 but for additional value, consider the 10 foot adapter which is only 2 bucks more.CONS-This plug is large; I have several low profile phone adapters which do an equally good job charging my Switch Lite.-Other sellers on Amazon seem an almost identical product for about 20% less.Overall, this is a 3rd party adapter for Nintendo switch that functions as advertised. While other vendors seem to sell the shorter model for less, the longer model seems to be a better deal, which may be particularly helpful if you like to play while charging or if the electrical outlet is situated behind a TV stand or bookcase and hard to access.. Whether you are trying to save some money on official Nintendo products or simply want multiple adapters to charge in different locations/backups, I think most people would be happy with the performance of this adapter.

This is exactly what we wanted so we could power our Switch in a second room. Buying the Nintendo-branded adapter is always an option, but it's a well-known fact that many companies make their higher profits on accessories. This adapter works just like the factory version for less cost.It's about the same size as well! Perfect for our application/use, and I would recommend this power supply to anyone looking for a replacement or secondary adapter.
