It is simple, but goes into standard camera slide mount perfectly so it is not too loose or tight but always make sure to tighten the retention ring.Batter is decent for the cost. worth the buy for a backup light or for a secondary light source.

Love these IR lights! Lots of lamps gives ample IR lighting for my night time videos. Easy to use, durable, light weight as well. Definitely recommend.

So I found a sony minidv camcorder while thrifting with night vision. Its super handy for me on camping trips. Now the stock IR light on the sony camcorder is weak to begin with, and I thought getting this would help and I would say it gives me 2x the difference... pretty dissapointed. I also tested this with my camcorder pointed at a mirror (to see the IR lights) and it caps at a certain point when turning the dial....ughh

Je m'en sert pour ma go pro (fake) modifié pour le noir total et avec Camnoon IR49S monté dessus je vois dans le noir total et cela seulement allumé au minimum. Cela change la donne pour mes enquête de paranormal.

Purchased this march 2024 and used it about 20 times. Worked great. had fantastic illumination distance and was compact for easy storage when not in use. Love it until last night when it simply no longer would turn on. We tried everything, different cables different battery packs and nothing. Very disappointed that I will have to shell out more money for a new IR light so soon! And right at our busiest time of year!

I bought this light to attach to my camcorder to use in the dark, With MAJOR sadness it doesn’t work and my camcorder doesn’t pick it up at all even though it said it works for camcorder. Will not recommend to anyone.I gave it 2 stars due to light weight and not damaged but camcorder doesn’t pick up the light at all and it stays completely dark still.

The infrared light is adjustable with the dial on the side, which makes it really nice for however lit up you want it for nighttime Video.

It ain’t terrible but it ain’t great either. Seems cheaply made as well. Battery life seems to be mid range.
