AUTENS IR Illuminator is a great choice to installed with your wide angle IP cameras, CCTV camera. It helps producing better night vision image and greatly improve the performance of night vision cameras.
Warm Tips:
1. Camera and illuminator should be installed to the same horizontal and vertical direction
2. To protect the sensor, please set the senor head down to avoid direct sun exposure
3. For same quantity of LEDs, when the LED view angle is wider, the IR distance will be shorter
4. The IR distance and view angle are for your referance, the final view distance & angle is depend on your camera lens, please check with our specification chart carefully before buying
5. For 850nm LED infrared light, after power is on, if you look straightly at the lens of ir illuminator, you could see the faint red glow on each led, but YOU COULD NOT SEE any light emitted from it

Super awesome IR light

Used it to complement a built in camera light, and it is much brighter. It turns on at night automatically. There's somewhat of a hot spot and I'm not sure about the 90 degrees light spread, but all in all it works.

I did add more silicone sealant around the edges and around the cable port for extra protection.

Purchased this to illuminate my front yard as my camera is set back from the road by a around 20m and the IR in the camera didn't do a great job.This is super bright and really does a super job of illuminating the area I need. Super happy. The wire gland for the power lead doesn't seal properly as others have mentioned. To protect the light, you will need to use a little silicone sealant to waterproof around the wire.The only thing I will mention (and the reason for the 4 stars) is the quality of the power supply that comes with this. Feels very light and cheap - it doesn't have the quality of the light and I don't have trust that it will last long-term. I will be replacing it.
