Granted I only use these for plastic and aluminum but they work fantastic for those materials. You try these on 304SS and you deserve what you get pal. These ain't carbide. For this use case these are well worth the money. Great hobbyist tool and fine addition to the maker space.

I do a lot of counter sink and dowel. These seem to be working so far. They cut into hardwood slik and clean. Seem to be true to sizing as the dowel fit snug.

Good tool. Nice kit. Worked good in aluminum and wood, I think steel might be a bit hard on them if you were doing a lot. Recommend. Fast shipping

Having this set is great to complete all DIY's, the variety of shapes make jobs very easy to do and hassle free.The set comes in a case that is also good to have for storage always having this set at hand.

The case is very nice with this kit. You typically don't find step bits and countersink in the same set. The countersink work fine on soft wood. They didn't want to dig in when I tried them on a piece of oak flooring. The step bits are okay quality for thin metals. They say they're titanium coated and they might be but that doesn't seem to make them work any better. I have some of the name brand step bits that really grab and dig into material a lot more than these. But for the price this set would be fine for a DIY or home owner that just uses them occasionally.

Again as a vine customer it is hard to speak to longevity as we need to get reviews posted in 30 days but after running test holes in all materials other than steel I found these counter sink bits to be very niece for the price. I am building two sub boxes for some 18 inch subs for an analog room in my house and I will be l will be spraying them black with yellow stripes so I need to counter set all my screws and fill and sand for the finish product and these will work splendid.

I love the aluminum case these come in, that's almost worth it's own review. The bits themselves are just "ok." They do the job for the most part with wood, hard-wood, and aluminum. They didn't do well with steel, even compared to similarly priced step-bits I have.
