  • [Limit Piece] - After inserting the pipe, the length of the flared pipe can be precisely limited by the limit piece, which is efficient and convenient.
  • [Wide Application] - The pipe flaring tool is ONLY applicable to soft copper & aluminum pipes. Widely used in HVAC, air conditioners, air heaters, refrigerators maintenance, etc.

In trade school they issued us the standard one, but they didn’t make proper flares. Bought this one and it was an immediate game changer, it makes perfect and accurate flares. Very easy to use and no guessing on the right amount to protrude through. Very please with this tool.

I don't have experience with other flare tools but this one worked great for the flares I needed for my new mini split. The build quality seems really good, I would recommend it.

I first gave this a one star rating because when I tried to use with the Chinese made heat pump which spec'd 1/4" high pressure line, the 1/4" die is too big. It caused much frustration. Later after thinking about a while, it I tried the cut off piece with the 6mm die. That would have worked perfectly. I think they should add some warning information to give users a heads up that a foreign made unit with 1/4" line could actually be 6mm. Strange though the 3/8" die worked well, I did not check if a metric die would fit the "3/8" line.
