I had a leak in one of my refrigerant lines, cut the line put this in and it appears to be working for about 3 weeks now no leaks. One thing I will say is it's pretty difficult to get on as it's an extremely tight fit, but that's a good thing for a line that is under pressure.

HOLD THE FITTING BODY WHEN TIGHTENING CAPS - aluminum tube is very soft...This little fitting is amazing. Saves alot of money in repair cost.This is for automotive AC repair.I bought this for a Samsung fridge evaporator coil and found I had 8.5mm tube instead of 5/16", I had the collets machined out to 8.5mm and it worked perfectly.

Install was easy. Used to repair line to a/c dryer. Pulled a vacuum and it held for 24hrs. Only time will tell if it will hold charge under pressure.

Broke my front AC line during winch operation. Cheap fix that beats replacing the entire line, which was several hundred $$ from Toyota. Took about 5 minutes to install and back to blissful, wonderful AC!

Needed these to replace a section of AC hard line in a Toyota Corolla. The low pressure hose fitting rubbed a hole in the elbow of the hard line, so I had to cut a section out and add pipe, since I couldn't add the splice to the bent elbow part. What a pain, but it worked great and the air is now freezing again!

Installed it on my high side ac line ..didn't give it too much hope..but guess what..it actually works..mean while it didn't leak and seems great
