Recently I had a need for short extension cords to elevate my LED nightlights up from my low level receptacles hidden behind furniture.I save cords cut off of junk lamps and appliances etc. and was able to clamp these female ends on quite easily and make custom length extension cords. I find the design and build quality very good. I used a pair of slip joint pliers to put the slide on and it was an easy installation.

I used a vice to press the top part on and get, I hope, useful wire punctures.
