I wish I had installed these on my old Mavic 26" rims meant for Schrader valves. I have Presta and these little grommets will prevent you from shearing your Presta valve off the tubes. Worth the money.

I was going through lots of tubes (presets valve) that were always sliced at the stem. I installed these and no problems since (3 months).

I just received them today and put them on my rim. It works perfectly; a little tap snaps them in place and fits a Presta valve snugly.I had made the mistake of drilling out a set of rims to fit the Shrader valves I already had. Still, while it worked, it made for a tight fit for the tire around the larger Shrader valves and the rim, creating a little bump in the ride (I didn't think of that when I had the drill in my hand), so I got new tubes with Presta valves, and using these adapters I'm good to go.
