It does everything that is expected from the product's page description.The good?Once assembled, it is very sturdy and stable, although heavy. When you sit on it, you feel the support and you can trust this bench to hold your weight. The brake pads at each leg keep it from slipping even when wet. The slats are not too spaced apart, meaning that water can trickle through, but you can still set shampoo bottles and other things on the shelf underneath and they will stay upright.Assembly is straightforward, the parts are well identified and so are the fixtures provided.The Meh?Even if assembly is straightforward, it's still a lot of work. The screws are very long and getting them in is a bit labor intensive. Because it's plastic, the initial fit of the parts might not be perfect, and you might have to go around tightening the screws several times until they fit properly.The whole thing is solid, sturdy plastic and thus will not rust, but the screws will. If you want to keep this thing eternal, covering the screw holes with caulking or something similar will keep them from rusting.Still, overall, despite the steep price, this is a solid, reliable bench. It will last quite some time, and it has many uses.
