First time I have ever ordered a hand tool that wasn't assembled.You get a synthetic handle and the pick. U need to slide the handle into the pick and then find some way to press it towards end of handle.Strangest thing I have ever seen.No instructions if your expecting to receive an assembled unit.I will have to put it in my shop vice and press it.

The pick axes are priced very reasonably, but are so lightweight, I was hoping to get one like the ones I've had in the past. They were much heavier and more effective than these. I can't say I'm pleased with it. It has no weight, which might be good for some, but isn't as effective in digging out big roots, weeds and grasses. Also, it started rusting after a few days of use. I'm returning mine.

Very good vendor, product arrived earlier than I expected. The price was good, the pick seems sturdy, what I didn't like is the wide part of the pick being a lot narrower than I expected.
