Very necessary with wall papering! Stays wet without dripping or running. Mine had a split/cut on one end, but it didn't interfere with my wall papering

Loved how this worked. I used to wallpaper back in the 80-90's when it was last in style and always used rags but this is better way to absorb the paste without ruining textured paper. It held moisture without dripping. After a big job it still looked brand new. I

Not certain how this sponge is made but it started breaking up after two rooms of wall paper, not the best sponge. Went to a large sponge suitable for car washing. Held up much better.

We're doing a whole house renovation on a long neglected country house. Every wall is being touched in some way - removal of 1974 era wallpaper, repainting, new drywall....I've been using this sponge to install wallpaper and for light clean up after the projects are finished. I really like this sponge for removing drywall dust along crown moulding and baseboards.It is reasonably absorbent, but doesn't hold so much water that it soaks the wall covering. It is a tad bit too wide to use one handed for more than a few strokes. (I do have small hands though) Smoothing wallpaper as you put it up is pretty easy though because of thick, wide size..

great sponge for lots of task, the one I got was blue but it works great like a good sponge should,easy to squeeze out and it holds a good bit of water.
