Easy app just followed the instructions from the manual providedEasy to installEasy to program from the app. I set up a schedule to auto start and stop when needed.Although you cannot put two of these on the same plug, but there are other options you can get if you need multiple plug supply.I don't recommend using these for a window airconditioner, I have to replace it 2x's. I found that if there is a big power requirement from a large draw it blows the capacitors inside and it stop feeding power. I turned my air conditioner off by mistake, then turned it back on quickly whiched caused the compressor in the air conditioner to draw alot of power in the plug, The switch did not like that and stopped working.I would say that is not a draw back but more of a good SAFETY position for these smart plugs.They cannot supply high load appliances or equipmet

Our whole family loves them. At Christmas I connected all Christmas lighting including outside string lights (had no problems with the snow and freezing in the outside receptacles-wi fi still strong) and inside tree on the plugs and added them to a group on the Alexa app. We have several Christmas lighting displays. It was just a command to Alexa to " Alexa Turn on Christmas" and voila! Everything turned on. Same at bed time, just a command to Alexa to turn them off.. What a time saver!We now have connected them to bedrooms after Christmas for lamps to turn on and off upon entering and in bed to turn them off to save fumbling with lamp switches. Even our 4 yr. old granddaughter loves them and uses them when visiting and on her sleep overs. So easy to use.Once you connect the 1st one to Smart Life and then Alexa, the rest are easy. They can be moved room to room without having to reset. Simple matter to rename them on the Alexa App and move from one group to another or onto their own.Definitely ordering more before next Christmas.

I order those smart plugs a few months ago, and though I'd be giving you a little update on those guys.I am very happy with my purchase. Im using them with Alexa, in my basement living room, and thanks to them, I don't even have to stand up from my Sofa, Alexa does the job for me by turning on and off the lights in my house. I also plugged one to start my desktop computer remotely. I installed team viewer on the said laptop, which allows me to access it from anywhere.That's some of the very clever use you can make out of these devices.The price was fair, but I struggled a bit when it came to pairing. I had to switch them in to Access Point mode. But do not worry, everything is well explained in the manual you'll be receiving with your order!

Almost lost it setting those plugs with the WIFI ! The two modes of connections are kind of awkward and questionable with that 2.4GHZ requirement which is pointless since ALL modern home WIFI have a built in 5 and 2.4GHZ band that switches to the best mode for a given signal. At least that is what we have here with no problem what so ever with none of our multiple WIFI gear. So these little babies are quite something to set up but once they are in the stream WOW the App the connection IT IS SPOT ON ! You just need a lot of patience and luck i guess !

We set up a light and electric fireplace with these plugs so we could turn them on and off from our google home. So far they have been working great and we are happy with how simple they were to set up.

Did not connect at all accordingly to instructions- both methods. I was able to turn my router to 2.4GHz and turn off 5GHz (that must mean a have a mesh router?) - this process dropped all my other connected devises causing me to have to log back in and put in a few calls to my internet provider. - eating up a lot of time.I downloaded the app, found and began process to connect to device, but just as it seems the circle is complete, it says device timed out. Tried this several times the rough out the troubleshooting process - always the same result.Not happy, but willing to try another option to get them to work before returning.On the plus side they arrived super fast after ordering.***update: I messaged seller and heard back in reasonable time. Was able to get the assistance I needed to get these connected. So far, they are working great and easy to get the whole family synced up.

My first Alexa and Smart Life device. Have yet to try any programmable procedures, just on and off for a lamp. Follow the instructions carefully (surprisingly easy) and mind the maximum current draw, i.e. don't try to power anything over about 1000 watts (can't remember the exact limit). So far so good.Good value and a Canadian company supplying a "wrapper" for a Chinese product. A business model I prefer to deal with. I have not had to try the tech support (thankfully) so I can't comment on that.If you have an Echo device you simply can't go wrong ordering a box of these. A lot of engineering has gone into the Alexa, Smart Life world and it is a complete joy (and a lot of fun) to see how well third party devices such as these integrate so seamlessly.
