I suspect the high reviews are of a different product or, at least, different batches. Mine, 2 sets purchased at the same time in May 2022, are inconsistent. One set is total junk — pads don’t wick solder and lift of the board if you breathe wrong. The other set is better for soldering, but not great and lifts easy as well. We barely made them work for the project, but never again.I am also not convinced this is plated copper considering the soldering difficulty. Aluminum? No idea.Keep in mind that even if your batch turns out to accidentally be ok, these are one sided boards without plated holes. That makes the pads extremely weak and trivially liftable. Low quality “copper” layer adhesion would do that too. It’s bad. Best to choose a 2 sided board with plated holes regardless.

These boards are decent. The only issue I've had was that I use lead-free solder at 650 C. The tinned circles on the board can come off if you hold your soldering iron/solder wick on them for too long. This didn't create any issues in my project since even without the tinned circles, the board still holds the electronics pretty well and you can still solder components together.Also, I used a vice to squeeze one of my boards at varying forces probably a hundred times. The board is still intact and it's sturdy enough for being held in a vice while you solder your components.I'd recommend these boards and I'd buy them again if I needed more.

Not yet used as these were purchased strictly as a nice-to-have item. But upon examining them, I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the boards. Great value.
