This is my second unit, the first one started and ran like new but leaked like a sieve, put in for a replacement it came in two days installed and it started right up, doesn’t leak but has a little misfire , probably just needs an idle screw adjustment, started raining so I had to put it away.But it is a very reasonable price range and if you buy the companion kit you get air,fuel,oil filters and two spark plugs for a lot less than the hardware store offers it.

Replacement of the OEM carb was straight forward. The only issue was the connector for the float solenoid. I just cut off the provided connectors and install my own bullet connectors. This kit comes with an inline shut off valve, which could mitigate the flooding issue when the mower is parked.

Didn’t work , tractor started and idle ok but when increasing speed and engaging blades it would hunt up and down! I replaced carburetor with a different one problem fixed.

Ordered the carburetor for my riding lawnmower. First carburetor was delivered within 3 days. Problem was the choke would not close due to being oversized and stuck on the inside of the carb wall. Sent carb back and a replacement was delivered 3 days later. That carburetor worked perfectly and the riding lawnmower is back cutting the grass. I would have rated the transaction a 5 if I would not have had to return the first carburetor.
