went to use the baring tool today.wont fit the access hole in my 5.9 cummins,way to tight,so i'm back to turning the alternator instead,and i'm past the return window,

Worked well to pull gear, almost effortless, barring socket needed to be tapped in with a small hammer as the fit is very tight but also turns engine just fine, tapping while turning helped with teeth alignment

The baring tool is fine but the bolts for the puller are at least a 1/4 too short. Thankfully I keep bolts and nuts on hand and I happened to have a couple that were 1/4 longer and then it worked fine but not after spending an hour trying to get the bolts started and then looking for something that would work.

I would not suggest this to anyone, I had to replace the bolts with 45mm ones and add washers because its between a 40-45mm needed.
