This make of bits is very good quality.

unit was shipped in a timely manner , was well packaged , some of the reviews mentioned that the bits were all over the place when they opened this was not the case at all very well secured . Have not used but mainly work with soft wood so i have no concerns about it . I just had a hard time getting 6 to 9 bits for the same price for another red brand :) when I can get a selection of 70 bits for the same price . I'm a hobby guy may use these bits once a year to 8 times a year depending on what I have planned for projects so in a nut shell I feel great value for the dollar . Great selection cannot what to make trim pieces for cabinets . Thank you Yonico !

Bought it when I started woodworking and I didn’t know what I needed so I bought this for not to much money but I got a big variety

I finally contacted the manufacturer to send me a replacement box directly and their customer service was outstanding. These are excellent bits! I am sure they will figure out the packaging issues in the future.Pictures are from the third and last attempt. They are going back for good now. Although the manufacturer tried to add some padding, same problem, bits get loose and trash whatever they hit. The manufacturer offered to replace damaged bits but in this case it is over 1/2 of the bits. Not worth the effort.Returned 2 sets in 1 week right after delivery! The bits are beautiful and appear to be of good quality. The unfortunate thing is that the packaging is inadequate and some bits get loose inside the box during transportation, chipping other bits. I'd recommend inspecting all bits upon delivery. I contacted the manufacturer and they said this has been an issue and they are working on improving the packaging.

These bits are not the highest quality but for what you get it’s a great value.

Quite unbeatable value. For the money these bits can't be beat in my opinion. Arrived quickly and very well secured. It's hard to imagine how on earth any could come adrift in shipping as claimed elsewhere. I may never use them all quite true, but nice to know I have them to hand. Only used 3 so far but all have cut cleanly.

Premièrement le tout arrive très bien emballé, aucune chance d'avoir une fraise qui sors de son emplacement et se brisé sur les autres durant le transport. Deuxièmement je suis agréablement surpris de la bonne qualité du kit, je m'attendais a une qualité plus médiocre en laissant des traces de brûlure sur le bois mais jusqu'à présent tout est correct. Je n'ai pas essayé chacune d'elles jusqu'à présent mais ceux que j'ai essayé tout allait bien. Dans la photo j'ai une planche d'érable de 2" que j'ai arrondi avec la fraise 1"½×½ que j'ai fais en une seule passe. Dans la photo je n'ai même pas sablé et aucune brûlure. Pour un kit de départ je ne pouvais pas demander mieux. Je recommande à tous ceux qui travaille le bois pour le plaisir

Was hoping these would be better quality but they are just okay. Having some tear-out on some hard maple with some bits. Selection of bits is great though so I can't fault that. The box is meant to be hung on a wall - I wish it had a handle though because I like to store it under my main workbench and pull it out when needed. I don't have enough wall space to hang it. It came nicely packaged and all the bits were in place when it arrived to me.

I am getting ready to completely remodel my den with custom-built desks and cabinets, thus I needed a variety of router bits for various tasks. I am well familiar with the high cost of router bits and did not want to spend an excessive amount on a set, but I did want bits that stood up to long-term use. I read reviews on almost every Yonico bit, both for the bit sets and single bits. For the most part reviews were favorable, so I decided I would risk throwing down for the Yonico 17702 70 Bits Professional Quality Router Bit Set.The package arrived within two business days. When the postman handed it to me, I knew I had something substantial. Given the fact that you have 70 1/2" shank steel and carbide bits, the weight of the box is significant. The shipping box was well packaged and there was plenty of packing material inside to protect the contents.The Yonico 17702 70 Bits Professional Quality Router Bit Set comes packaged in a colorful outer box, the back of which shows each bit and its profile...nice touch. I inspected the outer box and found no damage; not even a dented corner.I opened the outer box and removed the wooden bit case. I had forgotten that the wooden router bit box was also fully encased by a 2-piece 1/2" Styrofoam box, further protecting it from shipping damage. Thus, the packing sequence was: plain shipping box packed with crumply brown paper, outer colorful retail box, Styrofoam box, and lastly wooden router bit box.While not world-class woodworking art, the box is solidly build. The latches and hinges are of average quality and perform their function as expected...nothing more or less. One quirk is that the hinges are on the right side of the wood box and the latches are on the left side of the box. My brain says that the box should open like a book with the hinges on the left, but that is something I can swap around while waiting for glue to dry on some project.Opening the wooden bit case reveals the router bit collection, all snugly secured in plastic bit holders. There is a protective piece of foam to keep the bits from making contact with the lid. In the past I have received bit sets, only to find one or more bits have come loose from the holders and rattled around inside the box, chipping precious blades. No so in this case; the plastic bit holders are snug enough to hold the bit securely, but loose enough to where you can use an ungloved finger to extract them without slicing a finger open.The router bits are arranged on angled shelves and each shelf is labeled with a profile and dimensions of the corresponding router bit. Note that the a couple of the pictures on the labels do not quite line up with the router bit that is above them, but it is close enough to where you can make the association, especially if you have been working with routers for more than a few months.I inspected each and every blade of every bit and all were in perfect condition...no chips, cracks or prior use. All of the bearings spun freely and appear to be of fairly good quality.Although each shelf/bit holder is labeled, I carefully cut out the back of the outer box and attached it to the inside of the lid.I have tested several of the bits on redwood and white pine, including the 3/8" roundover, 5/16" classic cove, the 3/8" slotting, and the 31/64" straight bits. So far they cut flawlessly and produce nice crisp, clean cuts. I am using these in a Bosch 1617EVS Router which is mounted in a Bosch RA1171 Router Table.These are not "one-time use" bits as I have read in other reviews. Properly used and properly maintained, the Yonico 17702 70 Bits Professional Quality Router Bit Set will last many years.All-in-all, the performance-to-price ratio is quite excellent and I am eyeing several more Yonico router bits and sets to supplement this nice collection.Thanks, Yonico!

Nice set, plenty of sizes of router bits, I have a few other sets, but this is a very good box. Case quality is good, illustrations of router bit shape a final cut are good in the bit mounting positions in the box. Has spare Allen keys for the bearing guides. I would of like some additional jointing cutters also, mitres and finger cutters, and would of paid more to have these in this product, as it would of been a full complement then. But an excellent range as is.

I have bought router bits before, but they have not lasted. Probably due to the fact I am conservative with my money. I have payed a little more but it has been worth it. They case they come in is great, good not having to chase the bit all over, also the peace of mind that they come with a lifetime warranty is great. That means fair wear tear, if I can say Common Sense.

Some of the router bits are damaged. There are chips in some of the carbide inserts. I have not yet reached out to the manufacturer about replacement. The set is a nice qty. 70 pcs gives you many choices / options for your projects. UPDATE I have reached out to the manufacturer and have said that they will be sending me replacements for the damaged bits....we shall see. I received the replacement bits in about a week. The company seems to stand behind there product and warranty. Customer service was quick to respond to my e-mail, very prompt in the replacement and shipping of replacement bits to replace the defective ones. Customer service is top notch, would highly recommend and buy again.
