My family comes from Russia, where the all appliances use the 220V electric current, and we always had problems that in 2019 there were still a lot of gadgets working with only 220V, so many of the dearly beloved ones couldn't be moved here, where it is 110V. For example, we are huge fans of Chinese Xiaomi brand, and recently imported a perfect steam cleaner - which unfortunately works only with 220v. So we had to buy this converter and are really happy with it.Now I finally can have any gadgets from all over the world and don't care about voltage instructions.The seller recommends that transformer's power >= power of gadget × 2.5. We ordered this 3000W transformer for the 1500W steam and they work perfectly together for about 40 minutes straight.The only but considerable downside is that it is heavy - about 8kg and cannot be carried around the house easily.I am really happy with this purchase and definitely recommend if you ever need to use any appliances, that use the higher voltage.

This is great product. I have trying to find Voltage Converter for a very long time. And specially was looking to find any info under reviews about using it for Audio system. All reviews or description about the product talked about using other electronic items but never about what I wanted to use it for.At last I got the courage to buy it. That was a great decision. I'm so happy to use my audio system, which was 220V, here is Canada with 110V. It has plenty of power of 3000W whereas my system together consumes around 1100W (or maybe less).

Brought a coffee machine from Australia and found out it wouldn't work in Canada because it requires much more power than what our power sockets provide here. This converter solved my problem and I'm very happy about it. It is quite sturdy. Sadly a bit big so I had to make a big dedicated nook for my coffee machine + the converter next to it, but I guess it's the price to pay to have a powerful converter that you can rely on everyday.

While it worked it was fine, very utilitarian with no indication of power draw level or any other indicators, but it worked…until a few months after use it stopped working after making a hissing kind of sound, presumably some internal component burnt out (and I was using it at half or less the stated max power as prescribed) .And the return window is only a month, which I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s illegal for this kind of electrical item…so that was an expensive mistake

It does its job with no problem, I used it for a Unisaw cabinet saw with a 1.1/2hp motor with no problem. I have returned it because I cannot find the seller anywhere, if it stops working you will have no guarantees, there is nowhere to find them, the Amazon guarantee is 30 days to return it, you should know that, if it is not a problem for you, go ahead and buy it, But in case of damage there is no where to communicate.

Je branche une cafetière automatique européenne.La cafetière fonctionne sur le 240v euro et je branche le transformateurs dans une prise 110v nord américaine et la cafetière dans le transfo et bam! Ça fonctionne! Fait pas de bruit et ne dégage pas beaucoup de chaleur.je vais cacher dans une armoire car c’est laite en cliss sur le comptoir de cuisine et c’est plus gros que la description je dirais plutôt 8pox7po x12po.

I really needed a step down transformer for an electronic project. I bought this one to take the transformer out of it. I was surprised to find a toroidal transformer inside. Quality piece. I couldn't beat the price and let me finish my project. I needed a 240VAC to 120VAC step down transformer. NOTE: This is not an isolation transformer. It is a center tapped transformer for kicking AC voltage up or down.

Great product! Great price! I love it. I have an induction stove that needs 220V power. The merchandise came in with two big scratches, one of them was actually touch-painted. I wonder if it was a refurbished or returned one. Nevertheless, it is only cosmetical imperfection, has no impact on functionality.

I used it perhaps 10 times in the last four months. This morning it died. I pressed the push button fuse several times—no go. I took the lid off and noticed slight browning on top of the switch. Did the main switch die?I took it apart and replaced the mini breaker with similar specs, but opted for a 6000a breaker for only $9. I am glad not to add to waste!
