Just bought this XBOX for my son for Christmas 2019. I opened it and ran the update, to make sure the system is running fine, since we only have 30 days to return it. Reboxed it and ready for wrapping and cannot wait to see the look on my son's face, in a couple of months.4 star rating only because I didn't use it to play, yet and I believe that nothing is perfect in this world.

Its a CA model so some apps you cant use . Like Cortana(alexa). System is great . Blu ray included awesome. Dolby sound as well. Must download apps.As games are up to 100GB s..... Of course downloading a large file.So i play whatever and download at night. No sense in thinking you will be playing a new game in 10 mins. Files are too large.

This Xbox One X has 1 Terrabite of total memory storage. Its running programs take some space though. It has the app Mixer for streaming and it is supposed to be very user friendly to stream from it (I have not done that). This particular Xbox includes PUBG-trial game, but you can't play it without a Xbox Live subscription. The good thing is that this particular Xbox included 1 month Game Pass and 1 month Xbox Gold Live subscription. With the game pass I downloaded great games, such as Halo 5, Rocket League, PES, Thieves of Seas, Pay Day, Mortal Combat X and others. You will need Gold Live subscription to play free games such as Fortnite. Check Xbox website for pricing on both Game Pass and Gold Live subscriptions.Now referring about quality of the visuals, I have an ultra HD 4 K TV so I can really notice the amazing gaming experience provided by the Xbox 1x (in the games that are supported by such quality). Now, this does not makes me a better gamer, just a better gaming experience.This system comes with 1 wireless controller. The original batteries in the controller lasted about 3 weeks.All 3 headphones with mic that I had did not work to send voice when connected to the controller, I could hear but my voice could not be heard. I had to buy new headphones with mic (SteelSeries Arctics 3) to connect through the Xbox 1x controller. Now it works well in games such as Fortnite. Overall, this is an excellent console!

Compared to PS4 (non Pro) version there are several things lacking in the XBOX One X-Controller quality is poor and buttons stick sometimes (the X,Y,A,B buttons in particular, the "plus" button is very "clicky" and seems to delay a lot).-I dropped the controller about 10 inches onto the carpet and this caused the battery cover to slide off and so the batteries bounced out all over the floor.-Cannot upload videos straight from games into Youtube. You can only upload to One drive, then you need to upload from One Drive to Youtube (or others). Its a lot more complex than PS4 where you just click "share" and "trim video", review and send (if you are linked) to Youtube.-Menus are confusing and hard to navigate.I.e: PS4 shows all the games or apps you lasted used on a simple, horizontal bar.XBOX only shows 3 apps or games you last used, and then when you think clicking "HOME" gets you to the game or app you want, the game is not shown. You have to click on your "user name" (upper left) and then scroll down and select "your games or apps" but your game still do not show up. That means you need to make a "Group" and put your apps or games in there. Now you are able to get to your games or apps. If not you have to search "all games and apps" and scroll around till you find your app. Very time consuming.-There is no "rest mode" like in PS4. XBOX has "turn off system" and "turn off controller" thats it.-Cannot tell if other programs are running and it never says "we are going to stop running this program while you start "this other program." (PS4 shows "we are ending (game) while you start (game))-No clear way to "quit" a program. And hitting "B" only goes to the menu of the game. Then you have to click the weird looking small black button near the middle right, that screen opens and you scroll down to "quit game."-Recently I started Battlefield 1, then switched to Dirt Rally without closing Battlefield 1. The system froze and so I had to reboot.-SOME XBOX360 games are compatible, which is really nice.Overall great system, just the menus could be cleaned up.

Not gonna lie this deal seemed way to good to be true. I got the xbox and it appeared to have been opened and possibly used. Checked the warranty and it was already 7 months out. I was going to return the item but decided at the last minute to get a friend of mine at target to allow me to check out a new unit. I can confidently say that the brand new fallout Xbox that I compared to this unit was identical. Double security tape, inner tape cut and once the security tape is lifted it changes in clarity from clear to white, which the tape on this unit clearly had not been lifted. I didn’t want to open this box just in case I was going to return it. But after seeing a brand new xbox that was verified new with the exact same esthetic I decided to go ahead and open it. Sure enough it’s new. Wrapping matched the verified unit, packaging was correct, insert layout is correct. Then to top it off we warranty checked the verified unit and the same condition existed, the warranty was already 5 months in. After speaking with a Microsoft support person they verified that you can product a receipt and upload it to Microsoft and they will reinstate the one year warranty. So after all that b/s I got the unit unboxed plugged in and downloaded PUBG and started playing with piece of mind. If your worried about the possibility of this deal scamming you I can verify, at least through the seller I bought through, northridge tech, it’s legit and I’m very pleased. Thanks for the deal and dealing with me. By the way they were very responsive to my concerns so thanks for that.One final thought about warranty, I’ve read on Reddit that Microsoft has a tendency to start warranties based on projected sell by times. Microsoft assumes that a specific number of units should sell within x amount of time from delivery to distributors or retail locations and it auto starts warranties. Seems silly to me, the logical idea would be the first time the unit logs in to Microsoft’s serves to update. But I understand that not everyone has internet or has intentions of connecting it, why you wouldn’t I’m not really sure. But if that was the case they should have a registration form or online form you could complete and start warranty. Just some food for thought. So when you get yours get that receipt and hold on to it just in case.

I thought it had to be a scam as every other system out there is 500 from other people even Unknown version and from microsoft themself they sell them for 563 so thought it had be a scam and maybe they switched systems in the box but it looked like the right system. Then I thought well maybe they somehow switched the guts but it has the right size hard drive and loads up stuff faster than other people I play with who are on one and one S and it has the different boot screen also. So I honestly have no idea how they are selling it for less but everything works fine. Only other option is them selling used systems as new but far as I can tell that isn't the case as the system and box looked new and the players unknown code worked. So ya great buy though no idea how they do it.

I have been a loyal Xbox fan since the very first Xbox you guys sold me a brand new Xbox that wasn’t actually brand new. I didn’t go to a third party like GameStop or Best Buy maybe I would because they’d be more help than Xbox is being for me. Had this Xbox two months and the entire time it’s been nothing but problems I sucked it up because the product description said it has a 1 year manufacture warranty so I thought my issues were Xbox live related today my Xbox completely craps out on me unable to work. I try to reach out to Microsoft to find out by your self help tool that my warranty expired 8 months before I even bought this Xbox. I have always been an Xbox gamer I have never wanted a PlayStation but honestly that’s what I’m going to have to get because Xbox has shown me a level of customer service so poor that I don’t know if I can be an Xbox gamer anymore.
