The supplied retaining screw doesn't thread into the whole in the adapter because A) the whole isn't threaded for it and B) the whole is to big. The plastic is so soft anyhow that if you did thread it in, just a half turn would strip the whole thing anyhow. They were cheap enough to try, cheap enough to throw away.

Good for what they were but the bulbs that were going to be used with them were not the proper fit in the component they were going in and didn't do any better in the adapters they were the right bulb number but not the right fit so these were returned

I bought these to convert my lights and be able to put them into the stock holding position but these don't stay and are incorrectly sized versus what it says on their web page so they are literally just junk now and I'm just going to buy new exact fit lights instead of reusing my old bright ones. I do not recommend these ...
