The camera is definitely affordable and very easy to setup. The only issue for setup was scanning the QT code using the camera not your phone. It wasn’t clear about this step which is why I gave it 4 stars. The camera can detect movement with very good discrimination against false positives. The subscription is good for situations where storing data in a secure cloud is important but having the SD internal storage as a viable alternative makes it a good choice.

This did not work with my Wyze Cam V3. I made sure I had the latest firmware installed on my camera before plugging it in.When I plugged it in, the light came on for about 5 seconds and then went off. When I went into the wyze app, it didnt show that the light was connected. I unplugged the light and plugged it back in. It again came on and then off. I left it plugged n and discovered every so often the light would flicker and the app would then inform me that the light was connected, then to only go off again. Very frustrating!!This is the first Wyze product I've purchased that did not work. I have had multiple v2 cams and upgraded to all v3 cams, no issues. I have two v3 pan cams, no issues. I have the four pairs over he ear headphones and no issues, I have three pairs of ear buds, no issues......but the spot light seems to be a miss for them.

Works only for a month or less then the app just cannot detect the spotlight anymore no matter what you do (i.e. unplugg, replug, reset, clear cache, delete and uninstall app).

Works when I set a schedule for it. Does not work on motion detection. Apparently it only fully works when you use it with the original cable. But my outlet isn’t close enough for that.

Compré esta lámpara en oferta, nada más para ver cómo funcionaba, pues en las reseñas leí algunos comentarios negativos. Grande fue mi sorpresa al ver su funcionamiento tan bueno y obvio corrí a comprar otra lámpara en oferta, pero ya no había tal oferta…Me gustó la lámpara porque tiene detector de movimiento y de sonido y tiene buena iluminación para el área donde la coloqué. Yo le doy 10 de calificación y la volvería a comprar aunque no esté en oferta.

Unfortunately, the item I received came in an opened box with a broken seal. The product itself has some “usage marks” and struggled to connect the cam to the network during the initial setup. I have several other Wyze cams and never had this issue with the previous cameras which came in sealed boxes. The cam also runs into network malfunctions and sometimes won’t streaming live feedback.Updated: 6 months after usage, this camera died.All of a sudden it stopped working and will not connect to any network (I tried several houses with different modems). I recommend to pay extra for shipping and purchase directly from the company through the US based website like I did with all my other Wyze cams - which are still working years later.

Excellent quality pix, day and night. Better than some commercial competitors.Did not need external night time IR LED lights, This camera works well, and shows some colors at night!Software is good, and gets the job done. Wyze regularly updates, so it is improved.Motion detection is pretty good. Not a 100% but works well.Sound quality is poor, unless the person is right by the tiny microphone. Speaker is tinny. But for its size, amazing that it has internal units to begin with.Fixed aim. Does not PTZ. However, it is smaller than a PTZ, very compact, and has a wide field of view, which for us was ample.Easy to install, a few minutes per camera.Water tight connector to power outlet.V2 camera has optional external interface.V3 camera does not. For most applications, get the current V3. It has better video quality.Wyze offers great value and products. Recommended.

Excelente accesorio para mi Waze CamV3. Al inicio no lo podía configurar en la app, pero basta con desconectar la cámara, volver a conectar y listo, detecta el accesorio sin problema. Buena iluminación, sirve perfecto para disuadir. Tiene dos niveles de brillo; muy fácil de instalar.

This is the third generation of the Wyze cam and the improvements are 1000% better image quality than the version 2 predecessor.Between the extensive feature set and the almost total darkness low light capability in color this camera is better than any other I've ever bought. The other Wi-Fi camera competition should be very afraid because once you see this camera and considering it's lower price, the Wyze can V3 will blow them out of the water. It also works very well when viewed on one of the Amazon show devices and is super easy to just ask Alexa to see a specific camera by name and you are almost instantly viewing that camera faster then you can pull your phone out open it up open the wyze app and select the camera that you want to view.A real time saver for home security but with all brands of Wi-Fi cameras, if you have multiple cameras and many items connected to your router you may find it necessary to update your Wi-Fi home router to a model from the last year or two. Otherwise your Wi-Fi's ability to handle the multiple devices we now have connected in our homes will cause your network to be overloaded and feel slow.
