We have an audio monitor, but wanted to get a video monitor as well. Since the audio monitor is our primary monitor, we didn't need a fancy video monitor that alerts us to things live/etc. So Wyze cam was the obvious answer. We have it mounted on the wall above our baby's crib, and can see her super well even in the very dark room. I love being able to keep an eye on her.The window/door movement sensors are also super cool and a great price. I love how small and discreet they are.

Things that could be improved:- Only 12sec events are saved to the cloud, with a 5min cool down time inbetween. Removing it requires a $2 monthly bill. The company could only upload thumbnails and link them to the SD-saved clip instead. Or at least allow to only upload videos with people in it without the 5min cool down since they claim that the person identification runs locally in the camera.- The Android software has some bugs, especially when loading the SD card saved data in the timeline;- The vertical field of view is much narrower than the horizontal, so software support to 90deg rotation is hightly desirable;- My SD card stoped being recognized, formating via App and re-inserting it did not fix the issue. However, after formating it with my phone it worked again... why?- The company need better security practices since there was a leak last month;- They are removing person detection early this year and will move to a in-house solution later this year. Meanwhile user who update the firmware will loose this functionality.- HD and SD video quality accumulate lag over time in live mode. Because of that I'm using 360p (It still saves in HD though).

Great little camera for the price, nice software, built well. The sender kit on the other hand, needs work. Sensor works good for a couple days, then has to be reprogrammed, kit can with 3 sensors, all with near dead batteries.

Right off the bat I have to say that this system has GREAT potential. I am starting off with the Sense Starter Kit as a trial and I am impressed so far.The system was extremely easy to get going. Once you download the free control app from the Apple or Google Play Store and set up your free account, it is just a simple matter of following the voice and on-screen prompts in order to add the Cam and sensors to your account. I was literally done in minutes! No exaggeration!I can’t get over just how TINY all of this hardware is in reality. The box the kit came in was so small I at first thought that I must have been short shipped. Its all amazingly compact stuff.My rationale for trying the Sense Kit was different that most users here. I got this to be able to keep watch over my Elderly Mom to make sure she is alright and to give us some peace of mind.It was very easy to set up notifications to show when doors are opening or closing or if they have been left open. I can really see this setup evolving once I start playing aroung with the Automated “Rules” potential.One really great and totally unexpected feature was the ability to set the Wyze Cam mic. to send an alert if your existing Smoke or CO2 detectors are going off!! HOW GREAT IS THAT!! The Wyze Cam’s firmware sound algorithm recognizes the industry standard audible alert patterns that CO2 detectors produce. This is like having a Smart Home enabled CO2 detector WITHOUT actually having to buy and install one! Fantastic!!I have only had this running for 1 day so far as of writing this, but the more features I come across the more I am pleasantly surprised and impressed!I may come back to update this review from time to time and may even increase it. Right now I am giving it a solid 4 out of stars.EDIT:I am now bumping up my rating to 5*.I have been running this system for a few days now and have had ZERO issues. The contact and motion sensors have never lost connection to the bridge and I have not had to reset anything. I get push notifications on my iPhone within 3 or 4 seconds of a sensor being tripped. The camera colour as well as night vision video quality is outstanding. I don't think that I would consider this a full-on "security system" but that was NOT my intended use and I don't think Wyze markets this as such in any event?At some point soon, I think I am going to pair this system with an Amazon Echo Show 8 for my Mom.I hope that Wyze will eventually have a greater Canadian presence and that their upcoming Wyze LOCK and weather rated cameras will show up on Amazon.caFor what these cost (even given the big price difference between U.S. and Canadian buyers) the overall value this system provides is very hard to beat. For the peace of mind this system provides considering the app is free and that NO Subscription fees are required, I am extremely happy with my purchase and I highly recommend Wyze products!IAAA+

This was my first purchase entering security cam world and despite being hesitant about feeling as if I may risk wasting money on a wireless system (keep your WiFi/network(s) secure!) that I feel more at risk of getting hacked or have trouble accessing it when away from home network...I'm so glad I went with Wyze! I went through many reviews and this system really has proven to be a fantastic value for this product. I'm a novice, rent an apartment so I wasn't looking for wired system, and the cameras, sensors and app have all been easy to use and understand without having anything "fail" on me. I've purchased a few cameras now, both for security and to monitor pets and I'd definitely recommend buying this bundle! I love the door sensors because my apartment door and trim makes a less than ideal situation for sensor placement and I was worried these wouldn't work, but they absolutely do even with a slight amount of gap between door and trim without being flush. They've worked perfectly despite the annoyance of trim interiors that may easily make even simple chain locks difficult to place.The app and controls are so user friendly, as I'm not one who is tech savvy or thinks to set or change things frequently. This app makes it easy to turn cameras on or off, just sound on or off as well, or any of the optional triggers (ex: if door sensor is opened for X number of seconds, which you can customize, you can set triggers to have a camera automatically begin recording) so easy to use with a few dummy-proof clicks on my phone. I love that I can turn off sound separately and am able to simply use the bridge to connect the various sensors and other Wyze accessories along with Wyze's own memory cards so there's no formatting or altering needed.No need to buy a service if not wanted, but it still is reasonably priced. However, for my current needs, just having the "backup" of memory card in each camera in case you need to playback footage from earlier on or your cameras happen to go offline (happened to me only once when WiFi service messed up, but was able to still review the footage bc of the memory card).Additionally, any accessories such as longer cords or indoor/outdoor mounts and covers have been consistently great value & quality. This makes such a big difference from other brands out there that end up costing so much more just to properly or efficiently setup security.If you're debating whether or not to purchase this, I think it's an excellent idea to buy this bundle and see how you like it. I'm so glad I did and I'll be getting more Wyze items to add on. *I'm a younger female & lives alone in Atlanta...and I've unfortunately been the victim of crime in a prior rental where illegal breaking and entering had occurred when I unfortunately didn't have any type of security. This was my best purchase yet and I didn't even have to break the bank; I was able to purchase this bundle plus one more camera with the memory SD cards and my entire apartment, even windows & doors is secured (or disabled when you want) so easily and simply and all for less money than a Ring doorbell. The Wyze system is WORTH IT and does everything & more than any other costly competitor. Save your money and your peace of mind & forget researching 50 other products out there like I did and go with this!!

Hay muchas cosas buenas que comentar respecto a estos productos, pero siendo breve debo señalar que funciona de maravilla con su App y servicio gratuito en la nube.Empezando con la pequeña cámara, que entrega una calidad hasta 1080 MP, y una excelente visión nocturna de gran alcance (por lo menos uno 8 metros), integra detección de movimiento y audio de dos vías. Fácil de instalar, con slot para memoria.La App de Wyze funciona de maravilla, tiene servicio gratuito en la nube para guardar los cortos videos (12 segundos) que se suben automáticamente cuando se presentan un evento establecido previamente.El diminuto sensor de movimiento tiene un amplio rango de detección, y los sensores de puerta funcionan bien cuando están cerca (no más de 5 metros) de la cámara que tiene el bridge.En general un set de productos bien diseñados, con muchas funcionalidades, a muy buen precio.

Great indoor Camera

I've probably written 3 maybe 4 on-line reviews in my lifetime, yet I am always grateful for everyone who does because they certainly help guide me with my purchases. The reviews that I read for WYZE were 100% the reason that I ordered these and so I feel like I should pay it forward to future shoppers.I needed cameras for a rental house several states away. Once it was finally empty, I felt like we needed some extra surveillance inside the house because of some stuff that had been happening. I didn't want to spend a lot as I would only be using it for a few months until the property sold. I also needed these to be super easy to install and pretty much no fuss. Coincidentally, a pandemic had begun right after I installed these- perfect timing as there was no way we were able to get to the house with a stay-at-home order in place.If you need inexpensive, reliable, easy to set-up/easy to use, than THESE ARE THE CAMERAS for you! I also bought the camera stands that you can plug into the outlet (they come 2 in a pack-FYI) which were also helpful for this one space. I bought 3 cameras- one for each door. I also decided to buy some WYZE lightbulbs so that I could turn the lights on and off from my house (again, several states away). The bulbs synced so easily and everything was controllable through the app on my phone. You can even talk through them if you need to- like asking a burglar what they might be doing in your house!There are a couple of options to be aware of- each camera can use its own SD card (not included) if you want to have a permanent record of the motion/sound that the camera picks up. We didn't do that but we did pay the $4.?? a month for COMPLETE motion capture. That allows the camera to record continuously until the motion or sound stops, otherwise I believe it only records for 12 seconds each time it is set off.Keep in mind that using these cameras is completely dependent on the internet if you want to be able to receive alerts when the cameras pick something up- which they did a lot! You can, however, adjust the sensitivity to the motion/sound which is nice. If your internet is unreliable, you might want to keep looking- but honestly I don't know enough about all of that stuff to truly offer solid advice.We just sold the property and so I went into my app to see about discontinuing our service and it was SO easy! I clicked one button- and it was done! I didn't have to call anyone. I didn't get a runaround. I didn't sit on hold. Thank goodness. AND just as soon I received a refund to my account for any days that I paid for in the month but didn't use...These cameras and lightbulbs have my highest rec... no fuss, get the job done., price was right!

Excelente cámara, la calidad de la imagen y lo fácil de usar con la app. Solo para interiores pues los materiales con que está construido no resistirán mucho tiempo el clima, sol, agua, etc. A mi me es muy útil para vigilar los sucesos de la casa. Sus nuevas funciones en la App y el firmware lo hacen aún más útil para el modo de seguimiento de vigilancia cuando la casa está sola y solo tienes mascotas esperándote.
