I recently bought the Worx WX240L 4V 3-Speed Cordless Screwdriver. It’s small, affordable, and perfect for many different jobs around the house.The screwdriver is powered by a 4V battery and has quite good torque/power. It’s impressive how long the battery lasts. Even though it’s lightweight, it’s well-built and sturdy. It’s great for tasks that don’t need too much power, like putting together furniture and small DIY projects.One of the best things about this screwdriver is its size. It’s compact and slim, not bulky at all. This makes it easy to use in most spaces, even tight ones.It also has a built-in LED light. The light isn’t very bright, but it’s still helpful when you’re working in dark places. It also comes with a nice storage box and useful bits. One of the features that made me choose this one over other competition is that it features a USB-C port for charging. Anything that is not USB-C is simply not acceptable in 2024.In the end, the Worx WX240L 4V Screwdriver is a good mix of useful features and price. It’s convenient, powerful, and works like a dream. I am extremely happy with my purchase. This is a versatile and powerful tool that makes quick work of all the assembly that I had to do to set up my house from scratch.One of the things I love about this screwdriver is its compact and lightweight design. Compact, lightweight, good on battery. But in my case, it worked until the battery discharged for 1st time.It charged ones, worked ones, and doesn't charge anymore.Replace the battery is impossible without braking screwdriver.Never dropped or hit this tool. Just stopped working

My number one question I didn't see mentioned anywhere in this or many similar screwdriver product listings: "can I replace the battery?"The built in battery can be seen by removing two screws on the end cap, it appears to be a standard 18650 lithium cell inside.I don't see a way to tear it down further than this picture without being destructive. There's likely screws hidden underneath the moulded rubber grip.Pro that the battery is a standard type, when it inevitably wears out I *may* be able to dig in further to get to it, but it isn't "user-replaceable" which is a shame.4 stars still because in the short term it appears to have good power and I'm confident the driver will work for my application although I haven't had much use out of it yet. Appears to be solid construction.

I equipped my install team with these screwdrivers and we love them. We’re mostly using them to remove wall plate screws (6-32) to install Wi-Fi access points in walls. Appreciate the ability to adjust torque and the ability to charge the screwdriver using USB-C. The battery lasts a while, but I don’t think there’s any way to tell battery %, which would be helpful in a future model.

This is a brilliant tool and I wish I'd bought one long ago. I'm using it mostly to take apart and reassemble electrical and electronic gadgets, which often have a lot of long screws. The ability to work one-handed is excellent, and I love the forward/reverse switch – no need to engage a separate gear to change direction, as on my cordless drill. It's quite powerful for its size and I think it would work well for flat-pack furniture. The switch is sensitive, so you don't want the screwdriver rattling around loose in a tool bag. The box supplied is nice, if a bit bulky.
