The light seems to be not bad quality, very bright and the magnets are strong.But it is another product that I have received that has been used and returned.It was out of its plastic bag the charge cord was not tied together and the light is fully charged.Not sure if it is the seller or Amazon but someone needs to start looking after returns being sold as new.UpdateRopelux US sent me a message as soon as I posted this review and explained that it is Amazon and not them sending out used items, and they offered to replace the light immediately.I wish other sellers were this Great at customer service they deserve 5 stars!I have now used the light a few times and if your on the fence, buy this light, I wish I would have purchased it sooner!Working on removing an engine, it lights the whole engine bay, and is adjustable so you can get it just right. The magnets are strong enough that when attached to the bottom of the hood if you pull straight down it close the hood.Do not hesitate to purchase the work light, and if something is wrong Ropelux US will go out-of there way to make it Right!

This product features two LED brightness settings that are both quite strong. The LED light is quite portable, and it can be placed with the magnetic ends that also double as standing ‘feet’ or by using the built-in, foldable the plastic hooks.I’ve been using the light for additional task lighting over the engine compartment of my car and working underneath, and I found the ability to turn and aim the lighting to be a useful feature as well.Before you plan to use it, you need to charge it for a while (3-4 hours) so it doesn’t run out of charge unexpectedly when you’re using it. When fully charged using a 5V1.2A adapter the LED light runs for hours. An adapter wasn’t included in the box for mine (just the charging cable) so I just use the 5V charging adapter from an older phone I have instead.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A BARBEQUE LIGHT. I DID NOT LIKE ANY OF THE CLIP ON ONES. THIS ONE CAUGHT MY EYE. ESPECIALLY THE FACT THAT IT HAD HOOKS AS WELL AS MAGNETS. I WASN'T SURE WHICH ONE WOULD WORK THE BEST WITH MY BARBEQUE. THE MAGNETS TURNED OUT TO WORK FINE. WITH THE COMBINATION OF THOSE TWO ELEMENTS, THIS LIGHT WILL WORK FOR MANY SITUATIONS. THE BRIGHTNESS IS GREAT, AND I LIKE THAT I CAN ALSO TONE IT DOWN. I WAS A BIT DISCOURAGED BY THE EMAIL I RECEIVED AFTER ORDERING, BUT ONCE RECEIVED, AND DOING THEIR SUGGESTION, ALL WAS GOOD. I RECOMMEND THIS LIGHT. IT WOULD BE GOOD TO TAKE IN THE CAR ON TRIPS AS WELL, JUST IN CASE.

I'm a heavy equipment technician and work and a variety of equipment in dark tight spots. I was excited when I seen this product and all the capabilities it had.I was very disappointed and unimpressed by the battery life and the magnets. I can't seem to have it work for more than 3 hours. The magnets barely stick to medal. But it is very bright and does cover a good area.Being a mechanic, I need something that's going to give me the ability to work with both hands in tight places, and doing a engine pill in some of these machines takes longer than 3 hours. So I recommend paying the money and getting a good strong nagnet rechargeable light.I hope they can improve their product, but it's just not able to handle the job of a heavy equipment technicians needs. Stronger magnet and better battery.

i took a shot in the dark on this one. not knowing much about lights. my husband is a gear head and his long term light bar finally took a crap and he needed something new, he wasn't going to buy it for himself so as an early Christmas gift i picked this one and so far he has been very happy. the magnets are very strong and hold up on all the spots. the light is very bright and the battery life last a long time which is great during those 5 6 hour long installs so ya we are very happy with the purchase

We got these for our church tent ministry. They work great!! They light the tent up and we don't have to worry about running lights inside. The charge easily lasts. The mission tent is a 30 x 60. We use12 of the lights.

This is a nifty lighting solution. My father needed a light do engine work on his 1957 Ford Thunderbird. I purchased (and returned) several under-hood lights, because the hooks on the ends would simply not hold the light in place and it would slide down. This light has swiveling magnets on both ends that allow the light to attach to all sorts of curved metal shapes. This works perfectly for the Thunderbird, or any other hood with exposed metal for the magnets to attach to.Even though the light is shorter than other cross-hood lights, this light is bright enough to cover the engine bay. It is also easy to grab and detach if you need to shine light on hard-to-see areas. This is much more difficult to do with the larger lights because the hooks have to be detached and can be too large to easily hold with one hand while working with the other.It can also be used under the car. We've balanced it on the floor and attached it to a number of metal parts, including wheel wells, suspension parts, etc. Whatever is convenient.The one drawback of this light is that the battery only lasts for 2-3 hours of constant use on the high brightness setting. As such, it may not last through a whole evening of work. As a result, we keep it plugged in when not in use so that it has a full charge when we need it.Bottom line: This is a clever light. More flexible, in my view, than the full-size lights and easier to use. However, the battery life could be better. It is also significantly less expensive than the full-size lights. I'm likely to purchase another one for myself in the future.

This one is able to pack a lot of bright LEDs into a form factor that's unusually convenient. It can stand on the floor and pivot to any direction. The magnets are strong enough to hold its own weight even if you only stick one side to metal. If you don't have a good spot to set it, though, it can be propped up in a corner because of its shape. Quite handy and it's so bright that you can't turn it off without facing it away from you and feeling around for the button (which they probably should have put on the back).
