I was empressed by the size of the screen and I like that it is ajustable, it has very nice screen size as seen in the 2 pictures i posted (one has a dvd case up to the screen just to give an idea of the screen size) The sound has a bit of a tinny sound to it but not a deal breaker and it is very decent for being a dvd player.Full volume is a bit lower than my liking, it would be nice if the volume would go up just a bit more or had an enhancer but also not a deal breaker. Picture is nice with a here and there grainyness (could just be the setting it was on)Purchased this dvd unit for my step dad and he absolutely loves it!Battery lasts about 3 hours but I did read it can take several charging cycles to get to full 5 hours of usage.Would i buy this again? Definitely!

I bought this DVD player for someone older to watch their DVDs on. It keeps him quiet, so that's good. The player has a nice big screen, great picture quality and sound. I believe this player is also region free, which means you can watch DVDs from the UK on it.

I'm so glad I bought this player. It is so easy to operate, that for me -- not a mechanical bone in my body -- it is a Godsend. The screen is much larger than I expected, and makes watching a pleasure; the sound is fine, but I wouldn't mind if the scale of audio was a little higher. Some DVDs seem to have a built in lower level of audio, but generally speaking, I'm fine with it. The remote buttons are teeny tiny, but once you get familiar with it, that's OK too.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. I would like to mention that I had a question that I posted regarding the player, and I got five very helpful responses, which I would like to express my appreciation for. It is very kind of people to take the time and trouble to respond.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew for his birthday because it's what he asked for. I didn't open it or try it when I received it as it was a gift for someone else. A few days after receiving it I dropped it off to my nephew on the day of his bday before I went into work. While at work my sister sent me a text saying that the DVD player would not turn on at all. I assumed it was a sister error and not the DVD player but when I finished work I picked it up and brought it home and indeed it would not turn on whether it was plugged in or not and yes I set the on/off switch to on and tried a bunch of things. I went to bed and left it plugged in and when I woke up in the morning it still didn't work. I contacted customer service who replied in less than 24 hours and sent a replacement. I got the replacement and this one works but the battery life is nowhere close to the 5 to 6 hours that they claim. I put in a disc of a TV show and turned the volume off and just let it play on the coffee table in front of me while I was watching TV so I could test the battery life before to make sure everything works as it should before giving it to my nephew. It lasted barely 2 and a half hours before the low battery started flashing on the screen and it died at exactly 2 hours and 41 minutes. I set the screen brightness to -2, sharpness on the lowest setting and had the volume turned all the way off. The battery should have easily lasted 5 hours. I have a 9 inch portable DVD player that I bought years ago that claimed 5 hours of battery life and it lasted closer to 6. That DVD player is now 6 or 7 years old and it stills lasts a good 4 hours which tells you a lot about the battery life of this DVD player but it can also be that it's been sitting in the Amazon warehouse for a long time and rechargeable batteries like the ones used on these sorts of things need to be charged once every 2 months for it to keep a stable battery life. It's very possible that this player had been sitting in the Amazon warehouse for a long time and the battery suffered because of it. I emailed them to see if the battery is replaceable and if so if they can send a new battery. I will update this review after I receive a reply on whether I can get a new battery or not and if I will fully test it out first.UPDATE: I emailed their Customer Service about the battery problem several days ago and they have still yet to reply and they clearly have no intention of replying!

I enjoy the sound and picture quality including the large screen. It is a very beautiful unit. I love the remote, very nice feature. It is a great unit to take with you on trips and to the campsite. Screen is large enough to share a DVD with your honey. Thanks sooo much for the quick delivery. You can't go wrong with this product, great value for money.

It worked great in few months and it start have different problems. But those problems were able to fix by checking you tube. Now it no longer work and try different methods and still doesnât work.It just keep showing loading but nothing happen.I wonder if I can get a refund as I bought it last June 2nd.
