What is Junction Box?
A Junction box deep base is a metal container for electrical connections, designed for not only concealing cables/connectors but also deterring tamper. The metal junction box is part of an electric conduit wiring system, it can be filled with connectors and cables. For the price I paid for these they can not be beat! The housing is physically quite strong and it looks at home supporting my camera off my garage wall. Wall mounting was a breeze with the ample mounting hardware provided. The only catch I ran into with these was 1) The camera mounting plate pass thru for the POE wiring is notpositioned in the appropriate area for my Reolink RL540 camera. 2) the casting flash in the neck of the mount would not allow the network connector to pass through freely. A few minutes with a file cured the issue. Overall, I would buy these again.
