We use these in all sinks, stops all debris and food bits from clogging the drain. Fits perfect and works awesome. Water goes down but nothing else.

I was hoping for a better fit, sits a bit loose but does a great job of stopping anything that should not go your pipe. Easy to pull out to clean since it's kind of loose. Will see how long it lasts though. A big amount of water may pop it out but hey, you should not be swimming in your kitchen sink so I guess it's ok.

It is very light. If it would be little heavy then it would not move with the tap water flow.

I was excited about this drain sieve, fitted perfectly, not too deep. However 3 weeks in it started rusting. At first I thought it was a discoloration from food, so I watched it closely. I hadnt thrown anything acidic in the sink or anything that perhaps went mouldy, just regular fresh veggies. I emptied and rinsed it after each accumulation. More and more rust spots appeared. The rust spots also appear on the 2nd sink which i use to rinse clean items only, with no accumulation of waste. It hasnt rusted through and is still in use, however soon I think it will be done for. Product lasted less than a month before rusting which was disappointing

Very pleased with these. They’re designed so that less waste finds it’s way underneath the rim. Nice looking and seem well made. Would fit a range of drain sizes, and getting 3 means I have a backup should I need it down the road. Recommended.

No matter how hard I might try it seems that others in the home, or visiting the home, will wind up putting dirty dishes into the sink without actually wiping them or clearing them as much as they can of the left over food items that were on them. Instead they seem to assume that the dish washing gnomes (distant cousins of the under wear gnomes) will come along and take care of the mess for them.That isn't entirely true as a few of the semi-regular guests will try to help with the dishes but then again they tend to do so by jamming things into the dishwasher with little or no rinsing done and lots of stuck on food there they think will be cleaned automatically by the dishwasher. If they do wind up rinsing things they typically do so by rinsing the dishes in the sink with whatever food was left on them then collecting in the drain.Thankfully using similar strainers has helped a good deal with keeping most of that food waste from going down the drain. Instead it gets collected at the bottom of the sink, in the strainer, and then it can be dumped into the trash can. That keeps the food stuff from going into the septic system and in turn helps to save on the need to have the septic system pumped out sooner than it otherwise would.Unfortunately, typically, these strainers will eventually gum up and rust up (for the metal versions) so having a couple of spares around is a good thing. This 3 piece set covers that quite nicely. As you notice any one of these strainers starts to get too worn you can grab another from the stack and put it into service.4 very solid stars from this reviewer.

These have done exactly what I need them to do. They fit perfectly in my sink (which I believe is standard for most kitchen sinks) and have a fine enough mesh to catch any food. It's important to me that these do their job well as I don't have a garbage disposal, and so far I haven't come across any issues. I've had the first one in my sink for about three weeks now and it still feels new. The wiring hasn't bent out of place or awkwardly caught on anything which is great.I feel like each one will last me at least a couple of months if not more, and I like that they come in a pack of three so I don't have to worry about finding new ones to swap out for a while. Overall I think this product is great!
